The goal of this HUG is to give HubSpot Admins more access to HubSpot's product and engineering teams as well as connecting with community experts.

This is so valuable! So glad I found your video. I'm starting a new role soon as a marketing operations specialist and this will definitely help me to hit the ground running.
To be honest: George speaks without any comma or period. He continuously speaks, only slowing down for uh and ah. That is really challenging to follow, even watching the recording with pause and play. Yes, he knows how to talk, but not how to teach. He is an entertainer, but not a trainer. Luckily, I was not in the live session, I would have spent an hour without really getting it. Now, watching the recording needs 2-3 hours to truly understand what he means, but only if you take it honestly to listen and understand. Otherwise, nobody needs to listen to.
I have loved watching the Hugs this year. Even if I usually don't get to attend live, I watch them on here later. I am going to set myself a goal in 2025 to attend more in person because connecting in the chat with other users is so valuable as someone who is my company's only practicing super admin.

I like the changes - I don't understand the arbitrary decision to add a maximum score. A good example - enterprise leads can take 12-18 months before they mature. it's not unusual to watch them engage over time - I wouldn't want to lose that insight - that's great intel for sales. Also - if a lead comes in through a "contact us" form fill that's an automatic trigger to the top score (whatever the threshold is for the company) - it's great intel for sales to see that lead continues to vet the company and therefore, the score would continue to increase.
Or are there slides if there is no screen recording?

How do we setup or implement this Lead scoring as the complexity of our corporate company comes with different business lines which all have the need for a different type of lead scoring? With this improved beta version, can we create different custom lead scorings?

I've watched these for a while now, and I understand that we have covered a lot of topics and there is not a ton left to cover. I also recognize that I am not necessarily coming with a solution, and that integrations help solve problems and are apart of HubSpot. But I personally, have not loved the last few HUG webinars that feel a lot like companies coming to pitch to a group of admins at once about their product rather than discussing HubSpot. Especially now that we are repeating vendors. I think getting back to discussions around best practice, how to solve issues with just hubspot, or free integrations and only free functionality shown would be the direction I would like to see this go rather than vendor come and pitch us time.
What I'm hearing is that in Salesforce, a Lead is a person, but in Hubspot a Lead is a process which is attached to a person (contact). This is helpful.

Super helpful, thanks for posting this. I am curious what happens to a lead if a deal closes? Does it disappear from the prospecting space? Do you manage it ongoing from the deal space? This is a bit of a mystery to me. I like to be able to see the buyer's journey in it's entirety - from creation of a company to close. In the past, I 've creating deals for very every lead that came in and I've also used list reporting. Ultimately I created custom properties to manage the lead journey for our company in the companies object. It has been very effective to get the whole picture from company creation all the way to won or lost deal. I set up custom views in the company tab and can get an accurate picture of any rep's lead situation. Recently I started exporting this data into a google sheet for even more in-depth reporting to understand if a lead was hot/cold. etc. Now that I've discovered the prospecting tool, it looks like this can potentially remove the need for the google sheet and put all of the lead reporting into one place, but I don't want to lose that view of the entire journey. Any ideas here? Thanks again!

is there a way to add lists of data to website pages or landing pages? For example, if a client has multiple tickets/deals etc, how could you create a list of all of the clients tickets/deals?
Hello all! My goal is to create a multistep popup form. To achieve this, I've created and combined multiple CTA's to create a multi-step form in HubSpot, which doesn't seem ideal. The metrics are also hard to analyze - Klaviyo's multi-step form report, for example, shows the conversion rate of each step in a vertical bar chart view which is great to review performance and ultimately dropoff per step. Is HubSpot coming out with a new multi-step form soon? I watched this RUclips video and I still don't have access to the beta, nor a multi-step form feature.
All I know is this was worth the watch for MH's kid.

This is a very useful workshop and the custom code fails off and on. Please add a video on rate limiting, cos the usual updates in our 3rd party system triggers the rate limit. I have tried using the percentage branch in the workflow to split the batch size, and stagger the flow and each batch has its own private app. But I still get rate-limited.
At 20:30 you mentioned editing ticket permissions so that users can view/not view the tickets they need or don't need. Does editing permissions in user settings apply to the "All Open" tab? I would like my users to only be able to see the tickets assigned to their team when they are in the "All Open" tab.

Lol I'm glad I found myself here - we're undergoing some large changes to our processes and flows on the frontend of the prospecting funnel. I think it was touched upon, but it seems like there's a lot of potential to couple Target Accounts and Leads more closely. I started to come up with some dead ends on some of the properties embedded on the Lead object as I usually do try and use those to understand what/how things are connected. Are there any examples of customers that have worked out a good way to make Account and Lead based prospecting a little more cohesive? I know the Prospecting workspace is very new, but in many ways I do wish for the "Target Accounts" to live in a more explicit area than Contacts > Company > Target Accounts. Since a Lead is related to both a Contact and or Company, I could stretch a similar logic to that of a Target Account where it may help us better rank our ICP tiering. Appreciate these deep dives and good to learn that some of the lead properties don't have fully extendable capabilities to the other objects just yet, and to tread somewhat carefully around some of the functionality. I almost made some of my problems worse on that mention of not adding multiple lifecycle stages to create a lead. The exact example of MQL and SQL is where my brain went when I first encountered this enumerable property for setting up leads. Saved me from a bad headache for sure.
