Loving it! Best purchase in my opinion. It’s not as expensive as running a tank with a sump but you do have to make some of your own stuff or look for things that fit in the back chambers. That’s just part of the hobby though.

Do you prefer it over a similar size tank with a sump?

Yes as long as you are willing to get the HOB equipment and change the filter floss every other day I think it’s way better IMO.

Yes once the lights go out they go into the water column. I think the UV filter will help completely get rid of them so they can not reproduce. Have you done anything to try and get rid of yours?

Thank you I agree however my nutrients are so low that I’m starting to get diatoms so that’s why I’m letting the nutrients kind of stay in the tank. Thank you for the comment. I appreciate it.

I actually did that today along with some other stuff to deal with micro bubbles in the tank. What I did was cut some foam to size and shoved it behind the basket to keep it forward. It really helped out with the noise as well. Thank you for the comment. It’s cool to know that people are watching a decent way through the video. 👍🏽 do you have a SR 120 as well?

I am having a really hard time identifying the clowns between tomato and cinnamon. I did not put these fish together but i got them all together from a buddy who gave me his tank and livestock for free. He said they have been living together for years. I have had them for two months. So far no problems but I am keeping an eye on them.

Thanks for the comment and the advice. I might end up doing that because one of them does have a bulb that seems to be going out or just not as bright as the others. The only concern I have is the skimmer and the refuge have to be next to the second chamber on the back because the water level is to low for the intake in the pump chambers. I have to lay the heaters horizontal because of this as well.

It was so when i originally started it was blasting water and I was this cant be right. In between videos i had to redo it and set it back up the way BRS has it. Nice catch though.

I added some fish in the next episode I went through and explained why I have so many but I will be adding coral in a month or so. I am looking for a weeping willow leather coral from a LFS or a local reefer. Thanks for the comment!

Yeah the piece of the fuge is made for a light to be hung on and it’s really sturdy so I’ll be watching it closely. The cheto really took off and I’m gonna have to cut some already. I’m wondering if that is because of me feeding the oceanmagik.

@@Sonny__b Good plan! Yes I think the cheto will absorb all that. I just measured my nitrates today and they are 40 .. even after i did a 10 gal water change yesterday..not sure what the contributing factor is yet.

@ thanks! Would love to see what skimmer you put in and how it works. The problem I’ve had with my current AIO is the flow across the bottom of the skimmer chamber carrys micro bubbles into the display
