Great engines, the best on the market. Made by Pratt & Whitney Canada
sounds sick
My earssss
Please rigging of engine pt6a67
Hi do you also do one on a 67d perhaps??
Does the PT6 in a Cessna have auto feathering on engine failure?? I see the manual feathering lever and its adjustment. Thank you for any info
I started learning this in 1977. I always set FIBA first, therefore setting the correct prop blade angle. If you dont do that first the engines will not match torque wise ever. Do not adjust the beta nuts or stop nuts. this will FU the reverse. The beta valve must be exact from engine to engine. If you start to " chase your ass" static rig again and start over. Push and pull all the connections and replace bushings or bolt as nec. Do not allow the PY link to twist on the CSU, confirm that it is straight during movement of the power lever when going into reverse or high rpm .
Where can I get this training pls am interested in learning this rigging process
Plot twist: in 6 years this plane will attempt to kill him. He outsmarted the plane and cheated death. Mike wins.
Who is here after engine explosion?
I am
Dude that's amazing...
Im imagining the atc guy just going "wut"
This thing keeps up with F 15s and P-51 Mustangs. 8000 feet a minute? Wow
I really like this videos... You should create videos for PW120 series. It will be really helpful. I work on ATR aircrafts 💪👋
😂😂😂😂😂😂 tausende €
He flew over my house one time in this thing and you cant miss it. It sounds unreal! He was flying VFR low so it was very impressive.
And he recently bought it back LOL
very good
fuel tanks capacity?
The arm on the fuel control, when rigging the condition lever, seams to have a different angle from the other f.c.u.So when trying to rig the condition lever at idle(parallel to f.c.u) can't be possible, cannot extend further the rod.
Exelente!. Entiendo ala mitad por qué no entiendo el inglés. Podrían poner subtítulos en español!? Gracias 😊
hello sir thanks a lot for your courses i want to know if you have a task card for light overhaul because we have an issue with our PT6A-42 which remained a long time whithout functioning any help and advice will be welcomed
Beautifully explained, this will help a lot. Many thanks
There are old pilots and there are bold pilots.......and now there is Mike Patey
Thats so freaking fast
The top 2 turboprop engines in my mind are the Rolls Royce Dart & PT6. Both have incredibly long histories and numbers being produced.
Congratulations to the Pratt & Whitney PT6 Engine, Great serve around the world...👍
Nice and Creative Videos, This is really my favourite channel.:). I really glad to see your post and your world was so brilliant.I decided to share them with my friends. Hope to bring happiness and healing to those who are stuck at home 🌴🌴🌴 excellent and Much appreciated!!🌴🌴🌴 🌴🌴🌴 🌴🌴🌴 🌴🌴🌴 Rockyford Rockyford Airport CFC6
Instructions unclear. Tried to set the angle on the fuel control lever but ended up impregnating my wife.
Common misinput
Mr Patey seems mistaken, I think he was piloting a Saturn 5
Dude is already in Texas as the IFR clearance is coming through.
Such a passionate pilot! Inspiring! Tks for the video, beautiful skies ahead, fly safe! ;-)
Respetos desde Panama.
Such an inspiration!
Wow! Thank you so much for taking the time to do this. These videos are very well put together. It has helped me a lot with our 200 here at Wallops Flight Facility. I wish I had you here with me lol!
Excelente vídeo
Can someone say. OG.
Thank you very much for this video! That make things much easier. Greetings from Austria.

Hi please I need some video or book about engine rigging pt6a -65b use in beech 1900 d
Hi guys..I like how you explain everything detailed....could you explain me why the propeller lever is fully forward when the engine is going to be starting...I hope receive your answer and understand that condition...
I think its because it puts the prop in low drag position.easier to rotate, easier to start
Thank you!
Nice!
Is it unpressurized? Imagine a pressurized glider style reclined tandem with two small turbofan jets though and skinny small wings. woven carbon fiber fuselage, light as a feather.
Mike Patey says it all! That guy is brilliant and his endorsement is powerful Nice music in the video, by the way!
Mike is one of the few Aviation Kings....
Just don't ask him what kind of weather to take off in.
The clip at the end re the EPL was very helpful, unless you have a 208 sim we never get to see that lever used, and just to see its sensitivity was really helpful! Great video all around.
Okay I was heavily laughing listening to Mike describing his communication with ATC climbing at 8k a minute! Classic!
