No mix should be stronger than that of the consistency of the brick itself, and when those excessive soluble salts get to the surface over time; you may get efflorescence. 10 points for effort though 😉😂. I would have left something to soak up any excess moisture in the tub over the previous night. Or maybe if its like soup; check for the ratio of the mix, & add some relatively dry muck to counter it. (Not that I think that is full proof), but better (imo).

As wasnt very clear....never had any problems till now...hope will carry on like this🤞😁thank you They should check new builds aswell as some of them...will go really bad in few years.. No dpc...wich will affect the building really bad but they dont check So many fk ups ppl dont care anymore

@@BrickWork-bY-B the reason was never published , there was earlier phases and more than likely the same groundworkers done all of it so the previous houses which people are living in has the same issues 😕 ...

Yeh nobody gives a sh*t ...the site managers and office yuppys are the worst for lying and underhand tactics there all snakes .

Hey mate! The best option it's to join as an apprentice??but from what i know you dont get payed alot for a while. The house building a bit slow in some areas now...try to get a labouring job for bricklayers,its the quickest way to learn,see how ppl work and fix problems.. Good labourer= good bricky Have patience..if you after money you will not enjoy as much. Must love what y do then money will come

Hi there and thank you for your comment! Allways this type of mixer or depends on the site,sometimes we use a silo where the muck its all powder and the machine mix it and comes out nice and creamy. Since i jump into buildings all we use and from what i see its this mixer or similar... nothing different Merry Christmas and a good year laying

@@bogdanii20 We use the silo too. Much easier and there's less waste from the bags of mortar tearing or getting wet and of course the sand doesn't blow away, wash away or get contaminated with rocks or cat shit. Even when you cover it! I guess here in the States or in Britain we bricklayers seem to have the same problems. Take Care and remember to pull that line the way you pull your girlfriend's hair! LOL

@@saber5585 😂😂😂nice one l,will do man The best thing with sand and cement is when the digger dont have a clue but want to help so comes around and give a good mix with all the shit underneath the sand and moves it closer to the mixer🫡😂 Take care

@@bogdanii20 Brother, I've seen that happen more times than I care to mention. Always move the mixer to the sand not the sand to the mixer.

You right...but with the prices i was getting i had to do more!! To earn something... I know im getting tired now and slow down but still have to get them down... Like you said some days maybe i lay 600 or less....it all depends on the build and what you doing....but average its 800 on our footings... Ppl take it like we lay 800-1200 every day... But soon as you finish brickwork need to go.inside to finish off wich take longer and less money.... But at the end of it the block work and brickwork we do works in a balance... Thank you Scott

Hello! I didnt know that ?? Maybe because its stretching?? We check with big tape,then after we finish blockwork we mark the doors but we use normal tape and check from both ends.... Its how we know the big tape its still ok😁 Thank you Scott
