I wanted to love Wreck the Halls, because I love fictional celebrities too, but there was almost NO Christmas vibes in that one! It’s not a horrible story, but I hate that they marketed it as a Christmas book! 😅 I’m putting some of these on my tbr. Thank you!

such a good book haul! I am not a christmas girl as i lost my dad in 2013 and he loved the holidays so i cant wait for christmas to be over. just another day for me. But my toddler makes the holidays more exciting! I call it winter holidays and going to try and read more books that take place in the winter. :)

The fun thing about McKays and their cd section is right in front of the elevator they actually do have a place to buy used CD players as well. So you can get something to play youe new CD on! I'm glad you got to check it out. McKays has a place in my heart because it was where my mom used to take me when I was little. I think it influenced how I look for books today because I still just wander around waiting for hidden gems to just jump out at me instead of looking at anything specific.

Love this segment! I visited the San Marco area this past summer and the C Book Mine was always a favorite. I took notes and I’m looking forward to reading some of the books you referenced.
