You can substitute it for any tech extra deck card you want. Good options are any knightmares, another nadir servant target maybe, holly angel if you want (I don’t like holly angel in this variation of the deck). Exciton knight and dropping a link 4 for zeus is still a play cuz you can overlay candina and ecclesia into battle phase into zeus.

Hi! Late response sorry (I use a diff account for personal so I don’t log on this one often). This deck is built to be sorta anti-meta and is specifically for climbing master duel ladder (taking advantage of bo1). The trickstar links as a whole are in a very bad spot imo if you want to win with a strategy like mine. If you’re playing burn holly angel is great cuz she protects your base trickstar cards and facilitates damage. You can probably fit her in this deck but there isn’t a reason to. She’s too weak to be a beatstick outside of a trickstar burn deck and doesn’t offer enough utility compared to the other generic extra deck monsters. Trickstar is getting new support in the future tho which should help make some of the link monsters playable.

Hi! Sorry I haven’t responded been really sick. The best way to start with Trickstar is getting the base cards needed. So things like triple candina double light stage and reincarnation. The engine is fairly small so you can run a variety of tech cards based on what you have and what you can afford. My deck is super UR heavy and expensive since I only play Trickstar. Gameplay wise my version of the deck is a very control centered deck so it forces you to understand fundamentals. There’s no defined combo lines and no step by step game plan which is why I personally enjoy it. Trickstar isn’t meta so don’t be discouraged if you lose. Idk that’s all I can think of for now.

No worries! Hopefully you're feeling better. Yeah I found out about the Trickstar deck type from the event that is going on right now and got one turned by it and fell in love lmao. Thankfully I got really lucky with the pulls and have everything for the base deck right now. The only thing I am running into atm is if I don't get the right hand or atleast close to it then I am just a sitting duck. So I think I just need more tech cards@@forvedge2557

Lycoris burns for 200 for every card he puts in his hand on top of my friend burning for 500 to activate so his lp just kinda disappeared (I think that's what you're referring to?) or possibly lp disappearing at the end is cuz of surrendering it just sets lp to 0.

@@Purin1023ah yea its just what happens in replays when opponent surrenders it just drops their LP to 0. no worries!

Thanks! With regard to soul binder, I haven’t played the class so I don’t exactly know how it works in detail. Personally I think they’re not as useful pre-awakening. Post awakening they provide invincibility with cubes. Honestly though, if you’re interested in the class give it a shot. On kms2, parties are usually fine with any class (although gms2 could be different but I doubt it).

Hihi! First my character is relatively weak compared to other people as I haven’t been playing as long nor have I spent as much as other people. But on top of that archers are pretty bad dps wise. Bows scale incredibly poorly (very low atk) and the stats we get from skills that help us earlier on don’t mean as much later when everyone else can catch up with gear.

Hi! In this video my skills are mostly in passives for first job. Awakening skills are 3/3/3/4 in fire tree. The only actives I have points in are actives that are required for passives and arrow storm (and sharp eyes if that counts).

I don't see any footage of assassins in any of the level 60 raids. I can get awakening on my own assassin and do some dungeons to show it (I do have to learn it lol).

Priests are very important in every raid, especially early on with potion costs. Only when people are geared enough where they can kill it fast enough to where priests aren't really necessary are they less relevant, but even then there'll only be a very small group of people who can get to that point. Overall, priests are an essential part to any party, so as a support priest you shouldn't have a hard time finding parties. Priests in kms2 are still relevant (as needed in most parties for raids). Every party needs at least 1 priest in order to have a smooth-ish run, some parties run 2 priests. The only time you might not be welcome is if you're playing solely dps priest early on (and have no idea what you're doing) or there's like 3 or 4 priests already in the party. And with regards to hard dungeons, on kms2 most people just solo them, but I'm thinking on gms2 most people won't care if you run with them unless they're trying to go for record times or something, so it should be fine. Hihi! Post awakening both rapid shot and ice arrow become obsolete. You put your skill points in passives for stats and you use almost exclusively fire branch of awakening for damage. See below comments for fire vs wind branches of awakening. Hope that answers your question!

Forvedge do you even use screwdriver shot anymore or is it completely irrelevant?

Hi! I don't use screwdriver shot anymore. I don't see the purpose in using it (charge up time takes too long for no real benefit). I do keep the passive ability (forgot the name of the skill) for attack speed.

Forvedge the passive ability negates the charge up time.

oh if it does then you probably could use it. I still don't but at that point it's just up to testing to see if it improves your damage output. I'll do that later and let you know if it improves damage output!

Hi! If you're referring to GMS2, 10 man dps chart doesn't show anything until chaos raids. Then it'll work for chaos raids, reverse raids, infernog, etc., but still not hard adventures. Hope that answers your question!

Hi, thanks! Pvp is still being redone on kms2 so it’s hard to tell right now since everyone is overpowered with the current gear. We’ll have to wait until the pvp rework is done (I’d guess before gms2 rework comes out or around the same time)

I see, I've always heard about Archers being weak in PvP which is a little disappointing so I'm looking forward to this rework. At least visually the Archer's awakening looks great imo :)

Yea archers have more or less struggled in pvp before awakening. Gms2 devs say they’ll buff archers with regards to pvp so there’s that.

Assassins have fallen off post awakening. They're no longer the top tier class they once were, but they're still good. Classes like zerk, rb and hg have overpassed them (given average skill). Very skilled assassins can still pull off really good dps, but overall they're no longer the best dps class.

They have different playstyles. Try them both out and see which one you like more!

How's zerk in korea interms of pvp and pve?

Zerks are very good in regards to pve. With pvp it’s hard to tell post awakening due to everyone’s gear being too strong so we’ll have to wait for the rebalanced pvp in order to truly know. But I’m sure they’ll be decent in pvp as well. Overall very good class!

Hello! Npnp. Top dps in this video is assassin. I believe the striker (which is #2) might've been slightly more geared but this was a while ago.

Wind branch of awakening is more of a mobbing type tree. It's not really used cuz it simply doesn't outdamage fire. And most of this game is centered around bossing, mobbing doesn't mean too much. Archers are still considerably weak compared to most other classes but if you enjoy it it's worth playing. Hope that answered something! Let me know if you have more questions :]

Thank you for the quick reply! Yes it did answer the question- I will keep on playing archer since I love the class but in what way are they weak dps wise? I play in MS2 NA East and my damage seems fine or even higher than most at times, just wondering from where the discrepancy comes- And if so, which classes are the top DPS there, curious.

Sorry I fell asleep but to answer that bows are the weakest weapons in the game (outside of priest staves) and it becomes significant later on. On kms2 right now I have a +13 level 60 legendary bow which is weaker than some +11 weapons of the same tier. The strongest classes post awakening are classes like zerk, hg, rb. From what I’ve heard wizards fall off but they’re one of the best classes pre awakening and are still decent post. In addition right now on gms2 damage comes almost exclusively from your weapon enchantment, so if you’ve gotten lucky you’ll have more damage.

Yea I'm still hoping for a fix to bows, as other ranged classes like wizards, heavy gunners and assassins have better weapons, with wizards and heavy gunners having alot better of weapons. Hope you still enjoy archer though!

Hi sorry for the late-ish response. For solely dps, assassin is alot better than ranger. Ranger is pretty weak right now compared to most of the other classes.

Forvedge I'm in doubt between ranger, gunner and assassin. After that i think ranger is not more an option

Both heavy gunners and assassins are good dps. Rangers are used for sharp eyes mostly.
