Chris Cornell is absolute legend status. His discography and diversity from album to album, band to band, is incredible to say the least. His consistent greatness in not only his voice, but specifically song writing, is unmatched by ANYBODY in music. While Jeff was an amazing singer, comparing him to Chris is silly. Jeff also unfortunately didn't live long enough to establish such a discography, so his potential can't possibly be understood.

What?!? In the blue hell? Kurt was an amazing writer and if he would of had just a bit more time I feel he was coming into his actual PRIME as a writer and it's such a shame!!! This randomly showed up in my recs and, yeah, I generally would agree that Elliott was a better songsmith and likely had far more technical know-how than Kurt did. However, Nirvana's music resonates on such a broad level culturally, it's really unfair to even compare the two of them. Miss them both and wish they were still around!

Love this guy, has a kind of wisdom that may come off as arrogance to some but it’s just a dude who doesn’t tolerate rudeness or cruelty and respects himself and will stand up for himself without engaging his “adversary” Just quickly protects his peace and moves on. I can appreciate that. Enjoy hearing him speak as much I enjoy hearing him play and sing. Talented artist who I would guess has spent a lot of time e playing for folks and dealing with the public in an age where common decency, grace and basic mindfulness has gone astray.
