Since you didn't include a spoiler alert, imma spoil it for you. They were an immaculate conception from the force born to two women. It's a pathetic show, poor storylines, weak dialogue and serves as nothing but another vehicle for Disney identity politics. I'm glad you like it, I really am, but you have to understand that a lot of people find the recent Disney SW stuff to be so so so lame.

Oh ffs it is a piece of Pro-Transhumanist Propaganda that had the big message of "Get chipped!" and "Just get chipped!" x10. If that bs is so great STOP trying to shove it down people's throats and let them make the choice for themselves. edit: Shame the reviewer is so trusting that this will not be guaranteed outright abused, I have NO faith having a machine in your head will be anything but disastrous. Consider those who offer it will want nothing but compliance or will figure out a way to lobotomize or kill you and make it look like a natural death. I wouldn't let a lover into my head with that influence much less something created by a corporation.

I liked this movie. I don't get the hate some movies get, people are like sheep, their "neighbor" or "favorite reviewer" disliked it so I have to dislike it to.

I figured out after watching the movie thar Atlas isn't really for us older and old people. My 14,15 year old self howeverwould have enjoyed it.

Her backstory was a surprise, but otherwise, storyline was quite predictable. That being said, I enjoyed it. It's getting unnecessary hate for the whole Boss Lady thing.

my brother has good and bad taste and he tried to convince me this is good before and after he watched it. ive been in films and studying film and screenwriting for years so I know my shit. just when i saw what it was with J Lo at the lead, I already knew it was going to be lame as fuck lol. saw the trailer and it confirmed my belief lol. after showing him that audiences AND critics were in total agreement about how bad it was he eventually just admitted he has his bar set low for netflix sci fi hahahaha. i was like 'now thats honest' lol. im like just admit you want mindless entertainment with loud sounds. dude tried to defend Madame Web too hahahaha

A 54 y/o woman throwing a 50 minutes hissy fit, because she won't do the one thing that ensures her survival, with a storyline almost exclusively based on the consequences of her own idiocy, and something that happened 30 years ago, that has no relevance to the peril she's now in. If that's the kind of movie for you, well, this is it then, and may God have mercy on your soul.

The show may be trash idk, I don't agree with some of the things Leslye Headland says but I haven't seen it yet. Most Star Wars fans don't even know who that is, yet they are hating on the show. From what I'm seeing, many people are just hating because they think it's the right stance to take. They see the next person hating and they're jumping on the bandwagon. Again, the show may suck, and I'm no fan of Disney Star Wars, but the amount of hate I'm seeing go around lately is a bit much

It looks like someone wanted to make a kung-fu movie and set it in Star Wars. Obviously this will be a hit to some, to others it will be a miss. But at least they are trying something new.

Its because Disney dont actually care about star wars only thier woke ideology, watch interviews and all they talk about is diversity, equity and inclusion, they cater to small minoritys like lgbt, that dont belong in star wars sorry not sorry.

It is because of the marketing and behind the scenes interviews, How the actress and Leslye Headland (Weinstein's assistant once upon a time) constantly push how they are CHANGING established lore to how they want it to be, instead of how it was set up to be by George Lucas back in the 70s. I see potential, I see decent choreography. I see flashy sequences. But that isn't what Star Wars is entirely made up of. There were things set up that were ignored. And some of the design just doesn't hit. I am not a fan of Disney's interpretation of Star Wars, mainly because of the disrespect from the makers when the Fans gave objective criticism around Last Jedi and were called Man Babies and Basement Dwelling Cousin Humpers by people who WORKED FOR DISNEY. I want Star Wars on the Screen to be good, but the quality has slipped because of constant inconsistency. For me, I grew up on Star Wars. I was 2 years old when I saw the full Original Trilogy, I remember all the feelings and emotions I felt from it even though at the time I couldn't fully comprehend the words or scope. But it was enough to get me hooked. And since then, I absorbed all the content I could. But after 2008, I started to notice the inconsistency under Filoni, the changes to what was already established, and then its outright destruction under Disney who promised to respect it. Their biggest disrespect was turning their backs on the ORIGINAL fanbase which was HUNDREDS of MILLIONS of People. Put yourself in their (And my) shoes for a moment. Growing up and absorbing this content since it came out, and after 30 years of its love towards fans, along comes someone who turns it on its head, joins in on Disney who then tells fans of 34 years that their beloved canon is no longer canon and will be discarded. And that the new stuff isn't made for them, but for others. Anyone with common sense is not going to take that lying down. Many of those older fans gave the "Sequels" a chance, but when they proved disappointing along with what Rebels did, Disney lost their minds and started attacking fans AGAIN. The moral of the story, do NOT attack and steal from fans and then play the victim and make up lies when they turn their backs on you for (in their eyes) BUTCHERING the lore and legacy of George Lucas. I enjoyed your video and hop your channel grows. I also hope my words are not taken as attacks, merely an explanation and answer to your question as to why there is a LOT of hate for the Acolyte. The soul of Star Wars is missing and they sacrificed Story for just flashiness and that doesn't make a good product by itself. I will be watching it, but with an objective eye.

From looking at tumblr, it's that the trailer makes the show look like it's setting up the Jedi as villains/going to be pro-Sith, or at least Sith-sympathetic? I'm planning to watch for Dafne Keen--Jedi X-23, let's goooooooooo.

The teaser footage looked like ass. They were trying to capture the essence of the matrix rather than Starwars. Thats the biggest flaw imo with disney SW: it doesnt capture the essence of starwars

IMO people would be more open to The Acolyte if it was tied to Luke's new order... Something to follow ROTJ instead of a prequel to the prequels

If I want Kung fu Ill watch a Kung fu or Bollywood Movie/show. Jedi aren't Hand to Hand combat expert. There not" Warhammer Space marines" trained in every form of combat. There Wizards with swords. Like the last Sith Who lazily jumped at a jedi master Had His legs cut off. The Last one who tried the kick Obi wan Murdered with a single saber slice. This guy stole her assassin knifes and left them by his feet. did force crush them or Force yeet them, He didnt force slam or push her. Just so lazy kung fu and A jedi master who cant tell a twin apart, Something Babies can do btw.

Yup!!! 100% This movie is the first prequel I can think of that feels completely organic to it's sequel. Most prequels are full of moments that pull you out as the filmmakers keep screaming "remember this?" and throwing easter eggs at the screen, or explaining things that never needed explaining (How Han got his gun?). This movie feels like it was made first. You see Gas Town, the Bulletfarm and you get some deep explanations for how that world works in general so when you go into Fury Road, the (mostly easy) guess work you had to make to understand that world is now fully developed. Honestly some of the CG effects/green screen really didn't bother me either. The movie is so stylishly made that I felt it just worked. Like watching 300. We know the background is CG but that's the style its going for. Great review man!!! Subbed

Crouching tiger creeping cretin. I thought the fight choreography looked terrible, except from Squid game guy who really does look amazing. But I thought that Trinity and the hooded young lady fighting did not look even OK. It looked quite weak. Im not sure if I'll watch. I also read about how the lady with the braids is playing a set of twins.

I guess I can't believe no one has mentioned it, but one large problem for me is that the show is excluding all wht males. Like not just the trailer, but the episodes as well. How is that OK? Thats who Star Wars started out about. Thats a huge portion of Star Wars fans and they decide to simply not have any characters like that? But also maybe because people have been watching girls fight a lot already? The Marvels, Madame Web, Prey, Furiosa, Rebel Moon. Damsel. Besides, Trinity looks like she has a poker up her backside, and the other on is doing the moon walk.

Oh, and no, it's not her old master, and she didnt go to the dark side, actually she is playing twins. I guess it's really her evil twin that is the evil one. Not that I care at this point. I would need to see a lot of changes before Id watch it.
