On this set up 3.3/2.2

Any suggestions for someone who’s is running 3.6 in the front 2.4 in the rear and still getting understeer and tires wear on the outside of their front tires? Weight distribution right now is 54f/46r. On 255s ride height in the front is 1/8 of an inch higher than the rear.

@@travisgreen2562 understeer on 255 with 3.6...... first I would fix the rake, 1/8 in the rear would promote rotation over the front. Do you have coilover? i suspect you do if you have height setting. I ran stock sway bar set but use a 2017+ rear bar, so slightly bigger than pre 2017. If you have coilover, then you can try to dial out the setting with stiffening the rear. A lot of factor. In short, if you have coilover, play with the knob to increase rotation to rear, add rake to the back, potential change in sway bar but I wouldn't do sway bar unless is an absolute must because the 2 items I mention first can most likely get you to rotate... unless you already max out rotation on this set of coilover

I’m bummed I didn’t break into top 20. It was my own mistake. I know this cars limit and top20 would have been a solid place. But then again I got super lucky and walk away with a broken taillight. Time to dial the car in

no challenge for me. ran e85 whole few season and no issue. I do run 1 tank of 93 when it gets cold enough before storage time.

Sold mine because I just couldn’t deal with it. I had it replaced but after half a year it started doing it again. Might get a 2nd gen tho a lot of the issues seemed to be ironed out. That being said there’s likely to be new ones with the new mode only time will tell

I only run full tank every session. if it dips below 3/4 or lower , it will starve

@@isDonald Thanks for reply. Mine fuel starves very badly - even worse usually, at around 7/8ths tank. But, this is track dependent.

Ah 7/8. That’s same as Palmer. I take it had a fast on camber-ish sweeper. Yea solution is either surge tank or double fuel pump or run full tank always

@@isDonald Yeah, I have just completed the double fuel pump install and also run full tank. I'm still testing to see how effective it is, so far so good

@@GetPunchedClothing His times are fantastic but you have lots of room to grow. A stock miata does better then 107 on the front straight
