Yep all the bells and whistles but how is it's proformance. Seriously thinking of getting 2 of them. 1 for me and 1 for the little woman.
Great video. I just ordered the same Kayak with Fin Drive. Can you recommend where to install a Fish Finder and where did you install the battery? Thanks in advance.

Australia mate!😂 if “az” is referring to “Arizona,USA” the US equivalent is the “hammerhead whale shark” kayak!👌🏽 exact kayak under a different brand.
These are made by Vicking in China. The model is VK-40 and you can buy them for under $550 + shipping if you buy 3 or more. Don't know what the shipping cost and you have to pick them up at the docks. You also have to install all the pieces yourself. The manufacturer says it actually has a 771 lb weight capacity and weighs 121 lbs.
Is that the seat that come with it? Ive ordered the same one. Wondering if it comes with the swivel seat as standard. I also noticed in the comments you habe sold it already. Any particular reason for that? Thanks.
Yea mate that’s the seat that I got with it, ive heard some people aren’t getting that seat, so unsure if thats an option after now. I have sold it because I got a hobie and now am participating in comps and just wanted something abit more nimble and faster in the water, also wanted something to accept a livewell
hey mate could you do a run through on how to put on the fish finder
Hey mate I have sold the kayak but it’s pretty easy if you have a down scan fish finder then you unscrew the plate on the bottom and zip tie the sounder to the top side of that and bolt it back on, then run your wire through the scupper hole there and into you sounder unit, the. Just find a spot to put your battery. Side scan models would work but you would have an exposed transducer unless you have it on like a railblazer mount on the side of the kayak. Hope that helps

@@saltfreshkayakfishing yea id like to know also why you sold it.. ive seen people complain about the drive not working and having issues with the seat..
No issue with the kayak at all, I thought it was a great platform to have a fishing kayak, just wanted to participate in the hobie fishing series and the the hobies are alittle faster, they take a livewell nicely and can accept a power pole. So I changed to a hobie outback. Everything worked and still works fine in that kayak.

@@saltfreshkayakfishing true.. well it also seems you got lucky, in getting the swivel seat with the kayak cause they don't do that anymore even though they are misleading people by calling it 360.. its a extra $239 for the swivel now... what a joke
thinking getting one these but in a darker green.. and prob go with the fins as I have had a hobie before and the fins are good.. but even better if your able to get the hobie turbo fins and put them onto the bay sports ones.. I'm also going to add a 80lb 3hp electric motor that can do a top speed of 60kmph for 6 hrs if using a 200ah 24v lithium battery which i plan to do if I got a fat kayak like this.. Or can do low speed 21kmph for 20 hrs or lower like 10kmph for 40 hrs...either way it would be way better to have a jet electric motor that can fit where the drive goes.. just sit back and go where ever you want nice as fast. Would like to also try mud crabbing with this kayak due to the large back.. I tried once with my old hobie revo 13 and it was so bad...lol got a viking profish reload at the moment but saw this and was like cant afford a PA14.. this is second best.. though would be great if there was more video content on it.
Hello my friend how to fix sonar in kayak ?
There is an opening under the kayak for a sonar would fit down scan models only. Or you could even get an arm that goes over the side of the kayak

Actually, I asked you because I'd like to order the same kayak. but I was hesitant because I had a bad experience when I imported a kayak (online), and its material was thin and not solid enough for loading and safe performance. But now I am assured due to your experience and your confirmation it's solid and safe

I have the exact same colour,the drive system looks identical to the native craft one.Currently making a trolling motor mount for the 44lb thrust watersnake i have for it.Unfortunately the rear flag/360 light mounting brass threads don't line up with the railblaza mount i bought for it....for the money its a great kayak,well made....
Hi mate. I have the same kayak with the 360 chair but my chair does not go all around like yours. Did you raise the chair a bit? Cheers
So what I found was it only went 360 if you have the base a certain way so maybe try rotating the base 180

Hi, I bought the same one. The trolley supplied broke on the second trip, whilst waiting for replacement I have installed a electric motor in through the centre console. Only used once with the motor, but all went better than expected. I expect this to be a decent kayak set up , just waiting on the trolley for easier launching at the boat ramp.
Yea nice I just purchased the bigger heavy duty trolley to go under kayak waiting on delivery for that. The motor in the middle would be handy but. I’m looking at installing a micro anchor on the back without drilling any holes in the kayak should be mint
issues with the cheap alluminium trolleys they are cheap and very thin so easy to break.. the hobie trolley is stainless steel plus the balloon wheel ones state over 80kg capacity which is a lie with the 30cm wheels its max is 50kg.. the 40-42cm wheels which baysports dont sell can carry 80kg per wheel

Comes with the kayak jimmy. I’m not sure if it comes with the other models. Did you get the 3.9 meter one. It actually is so handy too you don’t realise how good a seat that turns is
. I bought the same kayak. I contacted them and they told me you put that seat on and they don't come with them despite them showing a pic with the swivel seat. Probable look at fabricating something up and fitting a proper swivel boat seat. Thanks for the reply buddy. Safe fishing.
