Automated External Defibrillators are available in many public places so they can be used if someone suffers a cardiac arrest. AEDs are easy to use and actually tell you what to do. On Restart a Heart Day in 2022, SA Ambulance Service, St John SA and the Council of Ambulance Authorities provided CPR and AED demonstrations to show people what to do if someone has a cardiac arrest. CALL Triple Zero (000), PUSH on the chest with CPR compressions, SHOCK with an AED if there's one available.
