I'm an American ex-pat living in Asia who likes to play games, travel, eat, etc. and apparently I like documenting all those things... so why not join me? :) Also, I'd love to make some new friends along the way via social media (if at all possible).
Busan Vlogs - Episode 6 (We Are in Chinatown in Busan)
In this 6th and final episode, we check out Chinatown and have dinner in Chinatown in Busan. This vlog series was a lot of fun for us. I can't wait to see what I'll be posting next. Life is about to get real busy for me, but I'm going to do my best to continue posting (at least) weekly content. Below, I'll post a link to Busan's Chinatown (info) if you want to check it out. Anyway, please like, subscribe, and share (if you don't mind). Thanks so much for watching my weirdo content. I super appreciate it. :-D

Busan Vlogs - Episode 4 (Batman Karoke? Chicken and Beer and Convenience Stores)
Просмотров 333 года назад
In this episode, we first check into our second hotel of the trip; the Nongshim Hotel in Busan! (Link below) Then we head off for some dinner and hit up a couple of convenience stores. It was the first time I'd eaten meat in 5 months because I was hella tired and didn't have the energy to go meandering around to find food. Afterward, we checked out some of the nearby convenience stores before h...

Busan Vlogs - Episode 2 (Where Are We? Gamcheon Culture Village)

On this day, we visited Gamcheon Culture Village in Busan! It is an adorable, kitschy village on a hill/mountainside in Busan that has tons of murals, art installations, and vendors/food stalls. It was lovely. I can't wait to go back again. I'll include a link below in case you're interested in checking it out! english.visitkorea.or.kr/enu/ATR/SI_EN_3_1_1_1.jsp?cid=1998211
Busan Vlogs - Episode 1 (Beat IT! - Commodore Hotel Busan)
Просмотров 4033 года назад
This is the first episode in a series of vlogs from our (Changho & I) weekend trip to Busan. I'll note, btw, that unlike in the past, I did not edit these vlogs. I gave Changho complete creative control in editing this vlog series since he has been taking classes on video editing and graphic design. So, expect a different kind of series and you're definitely going to see more of Changho's sense...
Vegan Convenience Store Food in South Korea
Просмотров 983 года назад
I hope this video helps anyone out who might be looking for what kind of vegan options are available at convenience stores in South Korea. This is by no means all-inclusive and all convenience stores vary. In fact, some in Seoul and the Gyeonggi-do area have even begun carrying specific pre-packaged vegan meals, burgers, etc. If you're new to Korea and/or you lack the language skills to figure ...
Vlogging Around Japan
Просмотров 314 года назад
You'll have to ignore the whole tagging in the video of this being "Japan Pt. 1" and "Part 2 coming soon!" (as it won't be). That was before I dug through what I'd shot and decided to scrap it. And as I explained in my last video, this trip was hella rough on me due to medical stuff and learning to deal with my current situation. Things will be better from here, I'm sure. But I wanted to be com...
Why I Stopped Vlogging / Medical Issues
Просмотров 904 года назад
Here's just a quick vlog explaining why I fell off the planet. Sorry about that. Also, the editing here is at a minimum, so please don't hate too much. I just couldn't force myself to watch through the whole thing again... it would've feel too weepy or cringey. Anyway, I'll be back with more soon. I promise!

Changho and I went to Tokyo together last month. However, due to some issues (which I'll address in a future vlog) and the fact that my current vlogging method takes forever to transfer and convert video files... it has been far too long since my last upload. Sorry about that. I'll do my best to get better about that. That said, most of my Japan footage is still converting and transferring... s...
I SAID FRIED RICE, YO!
Просмотров 1045 лет назад
This is my first vlog; made in an attempt to share my day-to-day life with friends, family, or anyone else interested, as I live my life overseas. This will likely be a rare series, as I didn't factor in the amount of work and editing it would take to cut through over two hours of video recordings to come up with an acceptable-sized video for a vlog. Other series will likely come that will incl...
You guys are spoiled, this might just be the best looking food I've ever seen 😂😋
Oh, we are absolutely spoiled, for sure! 🤣😂
Love you guys, don't let anything stop you!
Thanks!!! 😁
Thank you for your sweet support. We will make more videos soon. Thx a lot.
Omg Changho is so damn adorable! You both are!
Awwwwww! Thanks! I actually just watched that vlog this morning for the first time. It was a damn cute one. 🥰
The things I would do for the strawberry thing....
I totally take back my “8”. That thing was a solid 9. I was more of them like right now. 😂
Busan is so lovely!
I agree! I love seaside places so much!!! I blame it on growing up landlocked and never seeing the ocean until I was an adult.
Love the potato point system and all the cut scene edits 😂😍
You were the one who original made me a potato... and I have since decided to no longer fight against it, and to just live my potato truth. So thanks for that. 😁🥔 The cut scenes are the epitome of the hamsters on the wheels inside Changho's brain. 🤣🤣🤣
Much cool than an American hotel.
The architecture here was amazing. Changho kept say “Oh, this place looks old” like it’s a bad thing. I thought it looked amazing. I enjoyed it thoroughly!
Nice sharing.waching from new friend from Indonesia.sukses ya mantap👍🙏🔔
Thank you for watching! I subscribed to your channel as well. I can't wait until the pandemic has settled down and things go back to normal so I can actually travel to Indonesia. It is one of the places I want to visit the most. I've already been to Japan (many times), Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, and the Philippines. I've been wanting to go to Indoensia for a long time but I haven't made it there yet. Hopefully I can within the next year or two.
Wow! We actually just filmed a CU video to go up next week hahah! Great video! I have never seen that cup of ramen before, I will DEFINITELY be giving those a try. Thank you for mentioning us! You definitely did better than we did at GS. Also, side note, we understand the hatred of corn. We are from Ohio and my hometown is famous for a Popcorn Festival.. HA! Can’t wait to see your next video!
I hope you LOVE extreme spice because those noodles pack a punch. They’re so good though! One of the suburbs of my home city used to have a sweet corn festival every year. 🤣🤣🤣 That’s too funny.
@@adventureswnato3627 I love spicy, let’s hope we don’t die. Midwest states be like= corn.
Excellent idea using the Biscoff Lotus cookies for pie crusts!
I used them to make a pie at Thanksgiving. It was wonderful!
I agree, I was going to say the same thing!
I'd just say that if you do use them this way don't do what I did on Thanksgiving and COMPLETELY PULVERIZE them in the food processor first... when you mix them with melted butter (in my case, vegan butter) to form the crust... they get far too first too quickly and difficult to mold. I think they'd probably be easier to deal with if they were still more crushed/bigger pieces of crumbs.
Hey, you won the thing you sent me! :D
Indeed, I did!!!
I'm glad you are going to start posting more!
Thanks! I’m thinking to keep up momentum I’m going to try and do 100 straight days of uploading. We will see if that’s feasible, given how busy I typically am. 🤣🤣🤣
@@adventureswnato3627 that's awesome! I will be here watching all of them!
I miss you so much, Jfer! <3
@@adventureswnato3627 I miss you too!
Love you sweetie!
I love you, gal. I hope you're doing okay today
Off brand anime goods?
Maaaaaaybe. I personally feel like he got suckered. lol
FYI... some of these things may be finding their way to you soon. HAHAHAHA... but like really tho.... :)
Love you guys! I don't know anything about Anime, so I can't help you identify any of it.
<3 you too, lady!
What are the differences between American fried rice and Korean style fries rice?
The ingredients are a bit different... usually bigger pieces. Also, the rice is different. Much more sticky. And it is much more flavorful than fried rice in the U.S. However, what we were having here was American style Chinese food. I just wanted that bland, non-sticky rice covered in soy sauce, damn it! lol
Because they literally have eeeveerrrryyyythiiing including a bank 😀
My favorite thing here is the malls that have aquariums, because I could just hang out at an aquarium all day long.
Maybe that's what I should do in my next (non-Japan) video... go to an aquarium! :-D
We need more! Sushi looks delish!
I finally just uploaded a new video a couple days ago. I have two more that will be hopefully posted within the next week or so from when we visited Japan in February. Keep an eye out! Or I guess there is a notification bell button you can hit to get notifications when I post... but I'm old and don't know where it is to give you specifics. :)
Naaaate!! ♡
Hellllllllllllllooooooooooooooooooooooo!
How many escalators were there? And I definitely thought you were out on the street at one point and not the store.
I think that mall had maybe 8 floors.... and there are very few elevators. So the way you go up and down for the most part is via escalator. And yeah... I <3 that "outdoor food street" that they have inside. That is part of why I recorded it. It definitely has a "walking around outdoors at night" even if you're in there at noon on a Tuesday.
Loved seeing a south Korean mall! That was awesome :)
I'm glad you enjoyed it! :) Sometimes I forget things being different here, because it just seems like day-to-day life now.
The hat - it is the year of the Pig :P Dawn NEEDS Deadpool! :) More videos please. We need more. You need some new software and equipment, but overtime you can do that. And get some moisturizer. It's good for your face! I love you!
I'll consider the Deadpool if I come across them again. Admittedly, this was the second time I'd come across them. Funny enough, the first time they were in a convenience store (and I think they were half the price as they were in the department store). I decided not to invest too much, because I wasn't sure if they vlog thing would stick or not. The editing wasn't quite a bad as I thought. Just getting over the learning curve. But near the end of the process, I could speed through in super quick. So maybe it will stick after all. Admittedly, the video quality was mostly me using the front facing camera on my phone, just because it was easier for me to monitor that way. In the future, if I'm doing a chatty vlog at home I'll just set up a tripod. And if I'm doing a public vlog with another person around (like Changho), I'll see if I can get them to film so the quality is better. I did buy a better lens and a shotgun mic, but I didn't use the mic at all this time because I didn't wanna haul around so much stuff. But when I go to Japan, I'll for sure be using everything. <3 Miss you, lady!
I wanna see moooooooore. ❤️ Give us a tour of your pad/neighborhood, yo!
I'll consider that once I get my apartment to a level of clean that I'm comfortable with. LOL
