But every time I do, you shut me out, claiming that is the only person you will live for. Saying that you would die if that person leaves you. I try to distract you so you don’t have to text with them every hour. But you would rather spend time with that person than with me. Anything I try to do with you gets shut down, if the online being is not invited. You would prefer to text them then just talk, friend to friend. I hope we are still friends, I really do. But even though you claim to be my friend, why do you never show that you are?

this precise moment of this song reminds me of a particular moment in my life: I was with an old friend of mine, sitting on benches in a small park in the winter ... we had skipped that school day and were dying of cold. I was in love with him at the time ... and I remember always staring at him while he joked and laughed at the bullshit we had done. That day he told me some things about his life, which I still remember. He left me a few months ago, for no reason, and when I look back on that day with this song, I feel ... weird

This is oddly reminiscent of my school life I never had friends the ones I did have made fun of me and used me for food it was especially bad cause I have an eating disorder. the worst year was 3rd grade where multiple teachers and my whole class made fun of me it was like something you would see in a movie. there was more but I'm desensitized to it
