It boggles the mind that the most basic concept of how important it is that children are adequately fed for their overall health but also their ability to learn. Do these legislators not remember squirming in class because of a growling stomach? How hard is it for them to grasp?
@@Ouroboros1958 I’m convinced that we need to encourage more people with basic compassion and integrity to enter politics. The leaders we end up are often so far removed from human suffering that they can’t connect to the needs of those they serve.
@@ESL_fairy Absolutely spot on. If there is one thing that public services & the govt shouldn't emulate as it is fundamentally against the whole concept of govt is the attitude of a business. Children are the future of a country & should be invested in. What too many govts have now are too many short term business-type thinkers.
