In this video I create a gray plush elephant from scratch. Learn how I hand made a grey elephant with a custom pattern using fleece, a sewing machine, and fiberfill.
First I grab my own elephant pattern made out of card stock and use it to cut out the right pieces from the medium gray and light gray fleece fabric I have. I use the medium gray color as the main body and the light gray color as the inside of the ear. Then I cut two eyes out of black fleece. After cutting out a curly tail it is time to glue everything in place with Fabri-Tac. This step isn't necessary, but it helps me keep the little pieces in the right place when I sew them down.
