This song and Tasha’s story about the lies that the church person did when she was 16 and how it effected her worth, her confidence and put her in serious depression and she tried to take her own life because she felt bad about herself because of the lies being told about her. I felt that, I’ve been there myself. My 3 grown children and all their spouses have broken my spirit put me in depression for many years by cutting down my character as a mother and grandmother with nothing but made up lies and ridiculous judgements cutting me off because I love my dog as much as I do. I’ve tolerated a hell of a lot from them all and my body and health just can’t take it anymore. I can’t get over the level of disrespect I’ve had to endure it just blows my mind and I know God is also disgusted with them all and how they’ve treated me. One of my son’s wives tried to fight me a few yrs ago because I called her out on her lies it’s was constant her starting drama and trying to divide my family up, she didn’t like being told I had proof she is making up lies so she came out swinging at me I tried restraining her and she kept coming at me like a bull and when it was all done and I went home I noticed next day all the multiple bruises on my forearm from her punching me while I held her head down between her legs to get her to stop. I never saw my son put her in her place when he saw her trying to fight me, I never got any apologies through the yrs and I let them back in my life after a yr of not speaking to them. Well the same son’s wife recently a few Wks ago when I tried calmly talking to her and asked her why she was taking something I said to my grandchild out of context and instead of talking to me and asking what I meant when i said “ awe your asleep in my arms you feel loved, safe and nurtured I love that” she told my son behind my back that I was malicious and attacking her as a mother that she doesn’t do that for her kids 🤦‍♀️😳 so when I asked her why she is taking what I said out of context and going behind my back to my son and making me out to be a monster she flipped out instantly and screamed at me and told me get the fuck out of my home and called me a “ fat fucking cunt” with the children in the home and my 24 yr old son. What hurt the most that I don’t know if I can ever get over was that my son was in the other room and didn’t jump up and defend me as his mother with how I was being treated or talked to. he didn’t correct her at all so he is telling her it’s ok to keep disrespecting me and dishonoring me as his mother. I expected him to tell her that I’m his mother and demand she shows me respect and to apologize to me and never do it again. So they all pushed me to by breaking point and I’m just done. I’m so done with them all that I’m finally walking away and shutting the door grandkids or no grandkids I can’t put my spirit or inner child through this torment anymore. All the toxicity Made me believe I was disposable, unlovable, not worthy of love but I kept fighting to keep them all in my life even though because I lost my self worth and self esteem but in the past few yrs of me believing that Its taken time and a lot of analyzing and crying and praying to God and the last yr I finally stopped crying and became numb and thinking well here we go again ; that I finally realized that I’m done with the roller coaster rides they put me on for no reason. I realized through all the pain that it’s not me it’s all of them and I’m no longer owning their words or their treatment anymore and now its time I chose me and have peace and happiness and the only way to do that is to not have any of them apart of my life anymore and completely disconnect from all loved ones that don’t know how to communicate honestly, can’t show me respect, can’t love me back properly or don’t show up for me like I have for them. If all they can do is be a wolf in sheep’s clothing or a snake in the grass then I don’t need them in my life anymore. I deserve better and now I can finally say they are the issue I’m not going to believe I’m the issue anymore. I’m working on forgiveness I see a counselor every week getting all my anger and feelings of resentment out so I can begin the process of hopefully one day forgiving them all for what they’ve done to me when I didn’t deserve it. When the time is right I will be able to do that but having them back in my life in the future I just don’t know about that. I will never put up with any more disrespect, dishonor or any form of abuse anymore I’d rather be all alone in life but know I’m not being beat down all the time and disrespected or not valued. I’m excited to see this new path God has me on and I know great things will happen, it feels amazing I’m only focusing on me, my finances, my growth, my healing and in time God will bring good people in my path that love me back the way I deserve and receive my love and not push it away or lie about who I am and my intentions for their own benefit. God is my light through all this darkness I’ve had to overcome. It’s just me God and my companion dog and I’m content with that ❤

I been a Christian for 20+ years. I been struggling with anxiety and depression since I was a child. I was diagnosed with Fiberomyalgia and IBS-C and other health issues. I am in constant pain all day and everyday I struggle with my memory and I am limited to do things bc of the pain I endure. I been believing that no man would want to be with a sick woman like me and that I will always be alone. But I come to realized that the Lord love me, that's what I need to focus on.
