I just listened to this again for the millionth time. I don't know of another singer in her 70s that can belt out a song with such passion and emotion. She truly is an actress that sings. And she does it better than snyone.

Like a fine wine, Barbra's voice has deepened and matured into the exquisite magisterial vocal we hear these days. So rich and velvety but still possesses that punch at her fingertips when she wants to use it. A thing of sheer beauty

Her age and her slight rasp makes this rendition even better. It shows what a great actress and singer she is. She sang it as a tortured soul. She brought me to tears. I'm so glad I got to spend my lifetime listening to this treasure of a woman.
