Now I'm looking forward to visit India and see these tribes. Thank You

Thank you so much ❤
Mam... I'm going to appear UGC NET in Folk literature/ Folk Lord on coming June 2024 , can i get some suggestions??
I feel that we must concentrate now on solving more and more previous year question papers
how can i get more solved questions?
Unfortunately, for this subject solved question papers are not available in the public domain.
Whenever i come to know about any village in punjab known for criminal activities like smuggling, robbery, first name crops up is "Sensi".... "bai us pind ch sensi raat nu lutt lainde ne" means bro in that village sensis rob/loot people so don't try to be late at night....
Which masters students can appear for UGC NET in Folk Literature ?
Folklore and Culture Studies
You need to have a master's degree in humanities, most likely, culture studies, tribal studies or folklore and culture studies
🙏
Nice
Thank you ma'am for making videos on folklore literature and I am preparing for UGC NET in folklore literature . Please guide me for this two months...... Lots of love from my side ❤
The videos are in process...very soon will share the new videos

Wow.... What is this dance called? Does it belong to a specific tribe?
This was a mixed performance of a few folk dance forms from Tamil Nadu State of India. This is basically a rural rendition of forms like Karagam, therukoothu, and kavadi attam. I am unsure about the folk songs as I don't have any knowledge about the language they are singing in.
Okay thank you.
Good explanation 🙂
Glad you liked it
'Folk songs must have traditional and heritage value.' This is true and a good law to distinguish any song from folk song. I believe young people must know this and understand its importance because i think it is vital in helping us preserve the the ways of the ancestors
So true!
It appears to me that the words "geet" and gidda in India mean dance. In our local language gida means the same also. I learn many things from you. Thanks
Geet in Hindi means song and gidda is a folk dance of the state of Punjab in India. Good to know that how similar the words from different countries come across similar meanings. That's interesting 😊
That is profound. I think your profession and not a means of living but a calling...... Never question your authenticity, just continue to be...... 🙏
Thanks a lot for your lovely words.
I am gald to see this video, basically I belonging from Sansi community and I am law researcher scholar and I have been working on sansi community and criminal tribes I have studied a lot about Sansi community and met with Sansi community people those who living in poverty basically they are not schedule caste they are scheduled Tribes but under constitution they identify schedule caste we must do something for this community because they are have been suffering from independence it's not fair for sansi community.
Thank you so much for commenting. I am so glad that we connected here. All the best for the Sansi community...I hope that someday...people will have equal rights and opportunities.
@@haimantibagchi1540 if you written somthing about criminal tribes or any criminal tribes could please share with me and if you have some sources where you get to know about Sansi community any book, or research paper etc.if you have this kind of stuff share it if possible it will be very helpful for me ..... 😊

im a Bengali who recently heard about non Durga Puja celebrating Bengalis who belong to the asur tribe. I wanted to educate myself more and this video helped a lot. Keep going.
Thank you so much 😊
Please Don't restrict yourself to your own state. You should make videos on the indigenous people across India and tell their narratives and what really happened to them factually. All the best
Thanks. I am trying to include all states. I have covered some...if you go through my videos, you will be able to find narratives based on academic research from different regions.
Assur was the king of all non aryan people. They never called them Dalits or untouchables etc etc. It is few bast..ds whose barbaric uncivilized mischief labelled them as such.
Unfortunately even after documenting the rich history of Asur community, still they became the so called 'other' and 'alternative' voices. They were knowledgeable, powerful and truly indigenous.
Jai.... SARNA,, SINGABONGA,, DHARMESH Our ASUR Tribe are oldest Tribe in our CHHOTANAGPUR platue...They are living mostly with our ORAON Trible belts...
Thank you so much for commenting. Are you from Asur or Oraon Tribe? It's such a pleasure to connect with the beautiful communities here!

They came from East Africa
The ones from East Africa are different and not through slavery like the Sidis - they actually ruled India for some time.
