This performance is pure dynamite. It's obvious they were performing for kids. If that had been an adult-oriented show, the performance would have definitely been a hard "R" Rated; especially the stage costumes. They look like they're almost frum in this clip. Still, pure dynamite. (sigh). RIP all of them. It was fun while it lasted.

I saw DSB in 1995 in Sheffield arena. I’d wanted to see her all my life then my partner rang up on the day the ticket office line opened. By sheer chance. We managed to get front row tickets, right opposite the microphone. I could smell her perfume when she came out, we were that close. This is the song she sang first and she looks here, exactly as I remember her that night. Never for get it! 🥰

I absolutely fell in love with this woman the first time I saw her on TV still in the 80's (I write from outside de States). Later I dig and dig and found all those Out of this World performances on TV since she get FREE till she get the Worldwide Stardom Deal with a Major, and she, as Janis Joplin said on national TV in the 60's: "SHE WAS THE SHOW". From here I will forever thank Cher for giving her work without fear or jealousy in her TV Show. When Tina had lost everything and needed food on the table for ALL HER children. Personally I rather this more "raw" live sound and unstoppable thunderous ENERGY for this particular song, and most of her shadowed records in the 70's to the unlimited budget sound of her records from Private Dancer onwards. Of course HER VOICE was there, and many of the songs were amazing. Maybe the production was a bit too polished for my humble taste. But those were the 80's and 90's and that's the trend that mainstream audiences demanded. Finally she got a well deserved retirement from the Industry in a palace with a prince who really loved her, just like a real queen should have. When someone got IT, GOT IT.

I always am amazed how they took a huge crowd that was cheering to a complete silence. then they had a sexual discussion on the stage in front of the totally silent crowd. Then they finished by making the crowd cheer louder than any silent crowd I have heard....Brilliant!
