    Would be nice if aluminium is really availible as it is soft and can be shaved away if too big... shrincage is also dependet on infill right

    If one is interested in printing jewelry, it is usually recommended to use a smaller nozzle and lower layer height. Does this filament work well with a 0.05mm layer height?

      As individual metal particles coalesce into a solid mass, a reduction in the part size occurs during the debinding and sintering process and is approximately 16% in the X- and Y directions and 20% in the Z direction.

      Hello, I don't find the video particularly informative. On the one hand, only the blue of the sky will tell the story (like at the Frankfurt trade fair) I bought the filament (roll €500) and tested it for 2 years. More disadvantages than advantages, 1. Component: The more complicated a component is (e.g. height), the higher the risk that your component will collapse or develop many cracks. ( in the oven) 2. When printing on the heated bed (printing plate), there is a 60%-70% risk of worb (tension). For example, the component has 100% density (x 40cm y30cm z50cm). Now the print is printed in a closed room (3D printer). In the center of the component there is a central heat that cools from the center outwards and upwards. Just 5 to 10 degrees of temperature fluctuations over the x,y,z axis are enough. There are one more points I could tell you. @@ForwardAM 😐😐😐

    BASF really needs to release a free shrink prediction tool with the ultrafuse to make it viable.

      You just need to scale the part prio to slicing in your slicer or CAD tool with X,Y with a factor 1,20 (or 120%) and Z with a factor of 1,26 (or 126%)

      316L is a very well known material in the dental and medical market, also for metal injection molding of the BASF feedstock Catamold. Our Ultrafuse316L is also suited for those applications.
