No way I really had that theory!!! I am trilingual and I definitely feel like I have different personalities between the three! I mean not like that but depending on the language the reaction and way of expressing/thinking is different, which in turn influences the choices and experiences between them.

For me it also helps me express my emotions because when I speak German (native language) my emotions are still mostly shut down due to emotional Abuse by my parents which was conducted via German language. So whenever I want to talk or even think about my emotions my brain automatically switches over to English because it feels so much easier and safer.
