If the voltage drops below 11.8V, the parking monitor cable will stop supplying power to protect the vehicle. The camera determines parking mode and driving mode by detecting whether the ACC is powered.

The maximum recording time can be set to 3 minutes, as the video on the SD card is overwritten in a loop. Longer recording times result in more footage being overwritten, making it more challenging to locate specific timestamps.

You can install a parking monitoring cable to enable 24-hour monitoring mode of the car, which can still record even after turning off the engine. KAWA's parking monitoring line will protect the car when the voltage is below 11.8V.

It's possible that the issue is due to compatibility with the card. We haven't tested with Kodak cards. We recommend using KAWA's own SD cards or mainstream SD cards such as Kingston or SanDisk.
