Oh really ... well ... welcome to the apocalypse. I'm glad you enjoyed the series. The audio is usually overlooked, but it really does add to the experience imo. I always start a fresh game when a character dies, and with an entire new build out now it'll for sure be an all-new run.

Ah yes ... coulda ended it in style. Didn't even think of something like that ... was mostly a lot of internal cursing about Earline's run ending from such a stupid mistake, all while deciding how she'd go out. I like to think the fires burned the whole place down and Earline, technically did clear out Louisville.

Yes sir, every story needs a beginning, a middle, and an end. Never underestimate the survivability of a lifeguard, they have determination and stamina ... oh and they got those strong healthy lungs too.

Zeds have a real knack for being annoying. No matter how many times you go through an area, there are more. (Build 42 is even worse). That lever action is almost musical when ya have enough zeds to shoot up and get into a rhythm.

RDR2 music in an Earline Trotter video? Appropriate tune for when she's wielding her lever action cowboy gun ... but that wasn't in the editing. I'm innocent Rockstar legal team. Yeah, Earline is one of my favorite characters ... only a very few installments left for her. Hint ... beware the pizza.

A build 42 run will be soon. I'm playing b42 now to get used to the changes and fiddle with settings a bit. I'm thinking zeds with eagle eyed sight, pin-point hearing, and sometimes helicopter events is gonna be the way.

From what I've seen of Louisville so far ... that place is rough. Ther's just so many zomboids.

🤣 Earline got busted taking an outfit eh. If only it wasn't December ... sadly the bunny outfit is kinda a summer only outfit (otherwise the tuchus get frozen off). The hum of a genny, delicious MRE's and the free time to devise a bunny girl themed Lego vid ... sounds like a pretty good 'exile'.

HAHAHAHAHA! Sounds good. I will have to work on the Lego video with that theme.

Behold ... a group of the rare bunny zomboids. Not actually sure how rare they are, the building they come from is the Velvet Tassel after all. ... Better keep an eye out for the wifey.

@artificial_zee well if Earline wants to don the bunny outfit, slip on some stockings and fancy shoes and decided to "audition" at the Velvet Tassel I will not object. As for my wife, i may end up viewing the rest of the series in the closet.....

Yup, this is build 41. Was recorded while waiting for build 42, but there just weren't enough days between recording and build 42's release.

Sheriff Trotter takes trespassing by zeds very seriously ... so she skips all the usual steps and goes right to execution. It's sorta efficient and no paperwork. ..... Thought the wifey would be happy the bikini was gone. Just aren't any breaks to be had, I guess. Thanks for watching (despite getting busted all the time).

@@artificial_zee yeah that's what I meant, art imitates life and vice versa, that's why I play zomboid 😂😏 (Yeah I'm aware of that part of zomboid's mechanics, I figured that the beer was to help sleep since you seem pretty tight on Earline's routine and discipline. Of course the use of beer would be to fit this purpose, far from me think of her... a bohemian! I just looted some gin and several other bottles of hard liquor from some trailer park in my current playthrough, I'll also be using it in the name of discipline 😎)

@@Somastray Yep, for the discipline. Earline has done her share of beer runs. I'm not sure which trait caused it but Earline would get agitated if she drank whiskey or wine.

Zomboids are stubborn and disrespectful ... but they WILL comply ... they WILL. Or just get gunned down. Same result really. And just like losing the bunny ears for the beanie, the long johns and socks are the necessary evils of chilly weather ... I mean it was only 50F in the house ... girl gonna freeze her tuchus off. Thank you so much. Thats very kind of you to say. I do like to play with more of a roleplay angle. I don't min/max or do wild extremes. Project Zomboid has a nice atmosphere imo. Sometimes lonely, sometimes zen, sometimes terrifying. I hope you enjoy Earline's journey.

@@artificial_zee That atmosphere you just described is a great sum up of this game for me too. And yeah I think that rp/ natural angle is what makes this so entertaining to watch, I'm really watching it as if I was watching a TV series or something like that.

@@Somastray That's great and exactly how I was hoping most people might wanna watch. Get to see Earline's new life as she progresses from an unarmed girl in a bikini to wielding an MP5 and dropping zeds with head shots.

@@artificial_zee That's what I kept thinking as I saw her strugling with noisy helicopters and trying so hard to find a car, or the little yet cosy base from the first days: "this lady has no idea yet of how her life is going to be in a hundred days or so :D" It's like this is the intro episode just to show she hasn't die, meaning survived and learn, overcame, fought and grew, set some character traits like the organization skills both external and internal (the cosying up of the base plus the discipline in terms of reading and excercise) and than you have this huge analepsis to show the actual story that took her there! So good :)

@@artificial_zee Oh, just like to say too, if this was an actual tv series, the ending credits HAD to be the sound of the turning of pages against the sound of the weather outside, as the screen goes black and the credits appear. SUCH GOOD atmosphere, and tells so much of the character, the setting, and the story! - just those sounds, no music. Just a person trying hard, not giving up, and the world around it. Is this too cliché? 😂😅

Also for toady's trivia: The Kentucky State Police (KSP) in 2024 do wear a campaign hat, aka: smokey bear hat. I assume they also did in 1993.

@artificial_zee now all we need beside the bunny ears is the state police hat for Earline. If not here, well, who knows, especially if she is reborn in 42!

@@tomawen5916 Earline doesn't wear a campaign hat in this series, was rocking the bunny ears and then she had to swap to the knit cap ... cause chilly head. I have been jotting down potential names/professions for the first build 42 character ... Bunny Earline ... or Trooper Trotter. Maybe.

It's oddly fun to be driving, see one zed, stop, shoot em, and drive off. No idea why. ...... Driving around in a stolen police car with lights and sirens on while also shooting anything that moves isn't dramatic to you? Man ... what kinda neighborhood you from? ....... I have thought about a build 42 version of Earline ... always been one and done with Project Zomboid characters ... no matter how much I like them. Thanks for watching.

@artificial_zee LOL! Unfortunately in my early days I lived in a neighborhood where the sirens were non-stop and every night there was at least one shooting. Became "normal". So, sorry for being innured to the casual violence. Ooops! And I vote for you bringing Earline back in the 42 mode. She is fascinating.

Those patrol cars are super handy for zed work, was some good luck finding any in good condition. Unfortunately, the fog rolled in, cut the zomboid shootin' short. Of course, Earline was wearing socks ... it was chilly. And wearing the same clothes all day everyday caked with zed spatter ... ewww.

Earline just keeps looting anyplace that might have some guns ... getting close to hoarding territory now. The bunny ears were a nice find ... perfect accessory for the apocalypse. Also, a good chance Earline finds one or two of those full costumes.

Yeah, she's good ... for now. I have it set to a twelve-hour window for symptoms to appear. I mean ... the plan is to kill all the zomboids in Louisville, so kinda already coming from a place of vengeance. But those specific ones for sure moved to the head of the line.

She got scratched on each hand, both hands ... are ya kidding me? A bite would be lethal, a scratch is a 7% chance of infection. I have a 12-hour window for the zomboid virus to develop ... if no symptoms in 12 hours, it's all good. Closest call yet.

@artificial_zee ahhh...could not tell it was scratches. When I saw the clock countdown I assumed the worst. My bad. Let's pray the 93% chance it is healable.
