His gameplay even if using TAS is not the same when using a random generated world which means that TAS could not of done the same things in his manhunt videos that he did. I don't believe he actually uses TAS. He plays with the tickspeed very very low as you had covered. I've done videos with him before and he just slows it down like 10 - 15x. ( 10 - 15x is the edit)
