Log Cabin Review
Просмотров 266Месяц назад

To build the cabin he used a system of wire ropes tied to trees, pulleys and endless chains.

It was just smoking up the cabin. We decided to clean the cabin out and improve it. We will use what we have. My ute/truck slid sideways against a tree, so I had to pull it sideways off the tree to get it out. I put a wire rope through a block chained to a tree and pulled the wire rope with a bulldozer.

This cabin is going to be a dream house for the weekend trips come this summer and winter. What a great job y'all are doing. Your father is watching over the two of you on this rebuild of his cabin he built.
Nice song
And that is how you do it.

Maybe I am ahead of the game , but did you put some type of covering over the roof fixture to prevent water coming in? Does it have a cap to cover all you did at the top? All I could think about was the song All By Myself , while you were working solo, LOL
I am so amazed by the both of yours craftmanship. The door is beautiful. Came by your site accidently, very glad I did. What part of Australia are you or is this New Zeeland?
Newzealand

Pretty fair bit of work there with 'only' a D5, but towards the end of the video there I ( jokingly ) thought, 'sometimes we do need an excavator ' when you were reaching high for those treets and brush. I think I'll subscribe to see what else you are doing. Greetings from Canada.
Thought that old girl sounded familiar spent many hours sat on the side of her this operator done over 70k hrs on this machine lots rebuilds

Are those rippers from an Allice Chalmers?
You did a great job of forming the slope on the bank. Most would need an excavator to create that.
Hard dangerous work, even in a new dozer.
nothing dangerous about that at all

I think its custom made. It was on there when I bought it.
Do you know if that is a factory 3 point lift on the rear or something custom made? Looking for one for a D21P-6. Thanks!
