This hotel has great service and the most perfect location if you are visiting the Mont Tremblant resort area. It unfortunately is getting quite tired and is in need of a refresh. Hello all! Here is a quick tour of the Holiday Inn Express Watertown, where we spent the night after exploring the Alexandria Bay/1000 Islands area. Video on that coming up shortly! :) This hotel was super clean and staff were great. It is an older build and therefore older style HI Express (still has carpets in the room, no stand up shower) but still a really solid property.

Hey folks, here is a detailed look at ocean view cabin 1385 on the Carnival Venezia. This room worked out great for us. Deck 1 did mean a bit of a trek to some part of the ship but was great for port days as the gangway was right close. Also, deck 1 mid ship meant very little movement if you are concerned with that. Quick room tour of a 2-queen junior suite in the Hideaway section at the Royalton Riviera Cancun. Outstanding room, super clean and incredible shower. Nice view of the pool and ocean from the balcony. No direct sun however in this building (building 1), so if that is important to you, get building 5.

Room tour and hotel visit if the awesome le Centre Sheraton in downtown Montréal. Loved my 2 night stay here, great club lounge amenities including super breakfast and appetizers 5-7p, large pool with hot tub and sauna, and very comfortable Club floor rooms with nice views and truly amazing showers.

Do they split the bed into two separate beds, or does the sofa have to be made to be pulled out to be the 2nd bed?
Hello! They can split the bigger main bed into two single beds, and then make up the couch as single bed as well. I did not check but generally the couches are not pull-outs on the cruise ships, they can be set up as single beds. If you take a peek at my Carnival Freedom room tour, you'll see what i mean.
Thank you so much for this trip down memory lane. We used to stay there during the summer in the 70's. At that time, there was a big macaw in a cage in the lobby - guess he's gone on to his eternal reward. We would always get a room just like yours - oceanfront balcony in the tower. No need for it to be fancy - it was clean and comfortable then. I'm glad to see that it still is.
Really had a nice stay here. And have totally fallen in love with Ocean City, it will be hard not to go back every year. I see a lot of people do that.

I believe so but I never saw it with my own eyes lol.. It's supposed to be down the hallway at 5:00 mark but no sign on any of the doors.

I have heard that the water is more brown in this area instead of turquoise. Some videos I've seen just have brown closer to the shore, and others i dont see any turquoise
Hi, was there a "smell" in the resort? Or in and around the resort/beach areas? I saw one video that mentioned this and im unsure now about booking. Please and thank you x
You can get a whiff of the "smell" on certain occasions yes. The only spot we noticed it on our first 6 days was in a few closed off staircases. But on our departure day, it was a little bit more noticeable in a few of the hallways. It's hard to tell if that smell is from sewage challenges, or if it's from the mangrove (basically the hotel is a middle of a humongous mangrove/swamp). But for us, it had really zero impact on our visit.
Hi, we arrive there later this year and we've booked diamond club. Are we able to use the hideaway poolside area?
Yes
Yes for sure, as long as you are not bringing any kiddos :). If you are looking for the biggest daytime party, I feel the Hideaway pool was the most happening.
How was the beach there?
The seating area for the beach is outstanding, lots of chairs and day beds, and 3 beach bars depending that portion of the resort you are booked at. The actual beach was pretty, clear and blue the day we arrived, but from there the weather took a turn and it became murky. So, answer I suppose is the beach is good if you catch it at a good time. They do run tractors in the AM to remove any seaweed.

Is it possible if you can let me know that the pool is open 24 hours or not? i tend to enjoy swimming at night and was curious if it was open 24 hours or not
It was not posted as 24hrs, times indicated (I think) we’re 8a till 11p. However I was able to access the pool area with the key card outside those hours. I did not swim during off hours tho, so not sure if they’d come to tell you to get out.

Très beau ! A mon avis ce serait encore plus beau sur une musique très intense sans paroles type La Valse d'Amelie Poulain ou un Requiem. Je suis loin d'avoir ce niveau en danse mais je pense que plus de danse et un peu moins d'acrobatie apporterait encore plus d'émotion . La salle doit être un super endroit pour danser 😍 Bravo! When I go to Maui I also stay at the Fairmont Resort down the street, so I visit this mall a lot during trips. I haven’t been since 2019 and I miss it so much. What I would give to go back to that beautiful island in the near future

Was it cold at all?
josh wells No, not at all, we got outstanding weather the whole trip, 85f to 90f and sunny! However.. some of the people we met on the cruise had cruised same period the year previous and temps were in the low 60ies and it rained for them the whole time. So you never know in January.
Thanks for the video, we got an ocean view room and we were wondering how it looked. 14 more days and we go on our cruise.
jediMASTER BANE Good stuff!! I was quite happy with the room; great beds and lots of storage. Only thing, like I mention in the video, is that you should bring a power cord if you have a few electronic devices to plug in. Have fun!

lexy kirkland Hi Lexi! I was able to keep the room nice and cool, and this even though the outside temp was super hot. For us, the AC worked really well.
It looked very empty, was this because it was a January cruise?
Robert Nicholson The boat was actually a max capacity. I took this video early in the morning, which is why is looked quite. Some areas obviously do get busy at peak times, but there are numerous occasions what I was walking around where the boat felt empty.
Hi Matthew, thanks! All passengers can bring in a 12 pack of canned soda or water. But.. you need to have it in your carry-on bag, not your regular luggage. You can also bring in a bottle of wine.
