Hey Billy, thanks for the reply! I have to say we were really satisfied with our stay at the Coral. We did the Royalton Hideaway Cancun last year, i'd say almost a tie between both for me, but the fact that the Coral was right there next to the beach and that we did not have to fight over chair in the morning put it over the Hideaway. Hideaway tho was for sure a more party place. But yes, buffet was a bit of a hit and miss and it was quiet at night at the Coral for sure.

100% yes, one of the best parts of this property was morning coffee (and afternoon drinks.. :)) on the ocean facing balcony.

Exactly, this was filmed first few days of 2020. And yes beautiful spot for sure with lots of high end shops. I have to admit tho, it did save our bacon somewhat on food and restaurants, as we did utilize the Island Gourmet Markets quite a bit and a few of the restaurants there as well. Was much cheaper than the onsite prices at the Marriott Wailea Beach Resort. What an incredibly beautiful island, feel super fortunate to have visited (and indeed, just before the entire world shut down !).

This was a nice spot but I would not go back to this resort to be honest. Maybe things have changed but food was really off when we went. And rooms looked really tired for a newer resort. Beaches of course were great but that's pretty much anywhere in Varadero. I'd have a peek at the new Grand Aston Varadero Beach Resort for your stay, pricing is probably close to the Vista Azul. We did the Grand Aston in Cayo Santa Maria in 2021 and it was way better than the Vista Azul. Obviously lots of other choices in Varadero too.

Hello! The room is standard ocean view cabin size i'd say (when compared to other cruise lines), maybe even a bit bigger. Honestly, we never struggled for space apart in the hallway if we were both trying to get at some of our things. And no, window does not open, you are so close to the waterline in these cabins that if they did, you might end up with 4 feet of water in the room :). Anything else, let me know.

Hello! I has zero issue with noise, my girlfriend also is a super light sleeper and she was all good. Most of deck 2 is just more cabins, so no disco music or deck chairs being pulled around noise :). Obviously if you have super loud cabin neighbors, it might turn into a different story but for all is was all good.

You are very welcomed!! Really enjoyed the ship too, we did have crap weather but that's not the ships fault :). And two bathrooms when traveling alone is perfect, one for the cleaning and one for you know what lol..

Hello! They can split the bigger main bed into two single beds, and then make up the couch as single bed as well. I did not check but generally the couches are not pull-outs on the cruise ships, they can be set up as single beds. If you take a peek at my Carnival Freedom room tour, you'll see what i mean.

Really had a nice stay here. And have totally fallen in love with Ocean City, it will be hard not to go back every year. I see a lot of people do that.

I believe so but I never saw it with my own eyes lol.. It's supposed to be down the hallway at 5:00 mark but no sign on any of the doors.

You can get a whiff of the "smell" on certain occasions yes. The only spot we noticed it on our first 6 days was in a few closed off staircases. But on our departure day, it was a little bit more noticeable in a few of the hallways. It's hard to tell if that smell is from sewage challenges, or if it's from the mangrove (basically the hotel is a middle of a humongous mangrove/swamp). But for us, it had really zero impact on our visit.

Yes for sure, as long as you are not bringing any kiddos :). If you are looking for the biggest daytime party, I feel the Hideaway pool was the most happening.

The seating area for the beach is outstanding, lots of chairs and day beds, and 3 beach bars depending that portion of the resort you are booked at. The actual beach was pretty, clear and blue the day we arrived, but from there the weather took a turn and it became murky. So, answer I suppose is the beach is good if you catch it at a good time. They do run tractors in the AM to remove any seaweed.

It was not posted as 24hrs, times indicated (I think) we’re 8a till 11p. However I was able to access the pool area with the key card outside those hours. I did not swim during off hours tho, so not sure if they’d come to tell you to get out.

josh wells No, not at all, we got outstanding weather the whole trip, 85f to 90f and sunny! However.. some of the people we met on the cruise had cruised same period the year previous and temps were in the low 60ies and it rained for them the whole time. So you never know in January.

jediMASTER BANE Good stuff!! I was quite happy with the room; great beds and lots of storage. Only thing, like I mention in the video, is that you should bring a power cord if you have a few electronic devices to plug in. Have fun!

lexy kirkland Hi Lexi! I was able to keep the room nice and cool, and this even though the outside temp was super hot. For us, the AC worked really well.

Robert Nicholson The boat was actually a max capacity. I took this video early in the morning, which is why is looked quite. Some areas obviously do get busy at peak times, but there are numerous occasions what I was walking around where the boat felt empty.
