I'm starting to understand where I'm falling short in terms of my gameplay. I got to work on my ledgetrapping and better recovery choice overall (I'm still trying to make charging Rising Tackle more natural so I don't lose valuable frames trying to analyze the situation too long before making a decision or not making hasty decisions in general). I feel like my style is a composite between yours & Vendetta's (a work in progress but I do see some similarities that I draw from both you and Vendetta's style of playing Terry) - I like to implement power wave into my neutral and I also try to blend it with a bit aggressive footsies (at least that's my aim). I'm looking for some inspiration from all the strong Terry players I can find, I appreciate you posting these games! 🙏🏾

That uair > bk block string at the beginning is so smart. Hitting shield twice without putting yourself above the platform sounds awesome.

I had no idea Wolf can Pancake under Terry's jab. It happens a bunch of times, and I won't count every single one, but it happens twice within two minutes at 11:14 and 13:20 😭

At the start of game 3 around 11:00 your opponent does aerial > dash back, aerial > dash back, over and over to win a bunch of interactions. Is there anything you could have done better against this?

It was really sick to see your usage of power wave whenever he camped the corner. I struggle a lot trying to approach enemies under platforms and hadn’t seen that option. I feel like Terry has a really tough time approaching enemies under plats on these stage because: His short hop is low enough that it gets hit a lot by projectiles His full hop is high enough that it puts you on the platform. I feel like those two things combined really limit him, since he doesn’t have many options from a distance to get over projectiles without landing on the plat. Your ability to maneuver around the plats and use power wave as a bait was really cool to see. Also, at some point you did utilt > drag down CS and I’d never seen that before lol.

Is the dtilt > ftilt > csPD spike combo at 10:25 true? I’ve never seen it before 😯

Does the smashbox provide any specific performance benefits for smash ultimate that make it better than a standard controller (outside of fighting game character inputs)? I’d test it out myself if I could! May just have to buy one to find out.

I noticed that you rarely use Nair very often, much less as an offensive approach since it's one of Terry's best setup options. Understandably, you're likely still trying to fully adjust the SmashBox, so I thought it best to point that out. Still though, you're playing the SmashBox like it's a GameCube controller. I'm excited for when mine arrives!

When my smashbox comes in, this will be my daily practice routine.
