Why are you adding stone? Perforated tile? French drain?
It's a porous layer on top of the drainage pipe, so water can pass through it
for what is that good?
Seems WAY overthought and not at all convenient? Why not just design a funnel for the end of the conveyor with a swivel head which follows the trench??
