Yes but it is great as a school device for your kids or just want to do web browsing as Ubuntu is slow on a raspberry pi compared to a laptop or pc

If you would like to know it is because at the time I had an iPad with a controller, meaning I couldn’t play hypixel as I was only able to play bedrock edition, hypixel bedrock edition has been discontinued for years now and Java is not available for iOS or iPad is without jailbreaking the iPad, for legal reasons I wouldn’t do that as I am on the latest version of iOS. Now I have a laptop so I can play hypixel

@@marius_kd8306 I would recommend 4 gb ram but it would be better if you had an 8gb ram pi for more processing power. Also it is strongly recommended to use a usb drive or nvme drive for faster read and write speeds as micro sdcards are generally slow like a 4500 rpm hdd.

You could also use 2gb ram but you will suffer from less performance with the lac of ram in your pi 5 but I am using an 8gb ram pi in their video so It is faster so you guys don’t have to suffer with slow speeds. Also it will be slow if you are using a pi 4/400 power supply instead of a pi 5 power supply so keep that in mind

@@cheze_bun Thanks for the tips. Despite the USB stick and Pi 5 charging cable, my CPU is at 100 percent utilization when I open a window. Dont know why

Sadly it isn’t getting any security updates but it has feature updates like windows 10 22H2 the last version of windows 10 (feature update)

Yes ik that the chromium projects are all open source but what I was meaning to say wise that we are turning chromium os into chrome os with Google services on android emulation

I also started playing around the official chromium os builds on the pi 4 and it is very bare bones, only setting, chromium browser, file browser and a text editor. And we converted the chromium os port (fyde os) into chrome os (with limitations with android) using android emulation to get Google play store and the fyde os store to install the android emulation software
