How do you turn the unpacked mesh back into a mesh.par file? Im trying to do it for a Y5 model.
if youre trying to mod, dont bother. Just call your unpacked mesh folder “mesh” and SRMM will act like its a par file, so dw. If youre trying to mod the PS3 version however. Do not waste your time. It wont work for auth models and it has very wonky support for adv models

Do you have a tutorial on how to change clothes or add other things to these renders? I recently got interested in making rgg renders and a artist linked me to your channel
to change character outfits its really just a matter or mishmashing assets. In my most recent render I’m using the dlc tshirt outfit for Saeko to create an effect. and if you dont have an asset that isnt in Yakuza already then search sketchfab for it
Hey, what happens if I can't find the tex_common.par folder? I'm trying to do this in Yakuza 4, and it doesn't seem to work. There is no such folder. Any advice?
its in adv if you cant find it in the root folder of the game

Hey man, I have been dabbling in blender with hact editing but when I try exporting the gmts only (choose correct armature game and animation, and yes I have gmt importer/exporter) there is a long log list of errors with a file created with no data. Have you run into this? And type of advice would help greatly.
I dont hact mod. Only model mod, so i cant help you there (sorry man) I’ve gotten this same error with custom motion.par anims and no idea how to fix it. I might make Yakuza modding tutorials eventually but I’m still a modding rookie

I wish Daigo was the final boss of yakuza 4. His fight was so cool and emotional.
I get this but this wouldnt really make much sense especially considering how little Kiryu's story actually contributed to the full plot

That looks nice, but needs to be more like DE-styled lighting (pls no green) and also why not do the Gaiden title card effect style though
the fire was something I didnt know how to replicate, and also the gradient effect was difficult too so I kinda tried mixing between how gaiden darkens the image and how IW/7 do the actual title card display
