I loved the Tridents :) non-regulated buses which could push +70mph on the City Bypass, which I never did of course ;), the later BTL Volvos are all regulated at 50mph :(

Which is why it had only one door, as all Airlink buses had in those days, the subsequent buses in the fleet had two, 606 to 628 I think, except 617 which was converted to a single door bus after a crash in the West Port in Edinburgh about 2006.

Bus 601 was an ex-Airlink bus, originally painted in the light blue/dark blue livery of the Airlink fleet, I also drove that bus on normal service (a service 17 I recall) in the early 2000s ;)

I was driving Lothian Bus 601 a couple of weeks ago :)

How can you produce an accurate 1/76th scale model of a bus and have opening doors. it would not be possible without compromising the accuracy and transporting the model into the realms of being a toy.

i will buy this model.
