aFe Power MagnumFORCE Stage 2 Install on E92 M3
I called MOTUL direct this oil is NOT recommended for s58 motor 😂😂😂
There is also another way called measuring with accurate tools... .0001 mics, that's how the factory does it, and that's how the airline industry does it, plastic is not as accurate as a micrometer and bore guage. The micrometer builds the engine, not plastic.
@@texgamevr9911 plasti gauge was used as a ref only. We have other videos posted showing the measurements we took with the mics and dial bore gauges. But yes everything you said is 100% correct.
What is a ballpark budget for that setup?
It’s not a dial bore gauge. It’s a dial indicator. It’s not a chamber, it’s a cylinder.
Leaving a comment to increase your engagement 👍 can't learn this stuff in a book
How terrifying
Nice
I run a 2021 M3 Comp (G80) RWD as my daily. Been running MSS HAS since almost day 1. I don’t track and never will, I just want to get a coilovers setup to ride at my same lowered height but get the most comfortable ride possible. Seems like these or KWv3 are the recommended options but would you recommend one over the other???
@@mlife3721 go for the OHLINS. Feel free to give us a call to discuss why we would prefer the OHLINS over the KW. 888-966-7373.
This is why I leave this to the pros. My retarded ass would have fucked that up.😅
Me 2 - just happened at 16k miles. Went to BMW they topped it off but now temp gauge is dancing aorund😢
Suck, squeeze, bang, blow. Want you have shown sucks 😅
TDC of the compression stroke or exhaust stroke…..🧐
it's usefull but not accurate that way, use a degree wheel. I replaced 100's timing chains in small block chevy's in 90 minutes or less. got paid 5 hrs. labor. retired master goodwrench
Old school way to find TDC, never fails and the only way I do it
then they came out with vvt ...
What's wrong with timing marks?
Now I'll never use my dial-indicator again.
Please tell me youre not actually learning from this guy
Iron Block V6. Anybody watching this video who knows what’s happening knows about what you’re getting at, we don’t care about that, what engine is this, what car is this.
Close enough for that purpose. It may be couple of crankshaft degrees off on either direction because at TDC (and BDC) piston moves very little in comparison to crankshaft rotation.
25k is light
Lol "leak free at 25k" come back at 250k.
Very nice my man
not yet he means lol
Hell yeah
Rotating assembly LMSBO 🤣🤣🤣
Let’s see this at 50k pls
Y u sound mad out of breath
Was running from the feds right before we shot this video 🫠
just use the crank and block marks
It’s only got 25,000 miles on it. It’s basically new. My 5.0 Ford truck had 225,000 on it with not a single leak. This bmw isn’t impressive
I’m telling you back in the day, BMW at 15k needed a valve cover gasket and oil pan gasket. They love leaking. 225k with “not a single leak” is a bold faced lie. Unless you mean you maintained it so it didn’t have any active leaks at 225k, which would not be a relevant statement in relation to the video posted.
No chance you said ford lmfao atleast make it sound realistic
@@znmperformance yeah lmao. I'm in the car business. A Toyota store at that. I've never once seen a car at 200k+ without a single leak. Not even $100k. There's seepage on most cars by 80-90k miles. Might not be anything worth replacing or major. But leaks happen. It's old rubber
I sure would fucken hope
I wouldn't set my timing to the height of a screwdriver...lol
what gloves are those and how do they stack up to the brightly colored textured style sold online?
Great question - we are picky about the glove situation. These are MicroFlex Diamond Grip. Love them. Slightly textured at the fingertips. Where it trumps all other gloves is in the oil department. If you get oil, antifreeze, trans fluid, you can easily clean off with a microfiber or shop towel. The bright colored textured gloves are horrible. Even if using brake clean, still leaves a residue. If you catch a sharp edge on these (MicroFlex) it’s game over. We get them for about $11/box of 100 so not the end of the world.
Who tf didn’t know that? Btw use a wooden dowel
Thats sweet man! How familiar are u with the c7 4.0tt?
Thanks! And we’re very well versed in those!
@@znmperformance man I Just bought one a s6 with a code p2007 intake manifold flap stuck closed, I'ma pull off the manifold tomorrow and see if I got some carbon build up and I'm so not looking forward to this big ass motor in this tiny car 😂
Yup. I first learned that on small engines, like lawnmowers and stuff. Great tip to have in mind for sure
Thanks 👍
use a wooden dowel for christ's sake.
Yeah fr. Mans worried about damaging something, yet he's using a huge ass screwdriver 😂
That colour 😍
Nice work
Thank you!!
do you have a place i can ask questions???? lol other than here
whem im under there and subframe is down what can i upgrade? how do i know if the hose needs changing? smoke test?
Can I use the older bolts? Is there any pattern to follow when torqueing? lastly do I use thread locker?
If doing any repair i just replace all the bolts. Saves yourself alot of time and stress if you ever have to replace them again. Unless its specialty bolts like these and others such as lugnuts, I antisieze all of them i can. Nothing ruins a day quicker than a broken bolt that's flush to the housing because it broke off during removal or installation of a used bolt.
Preach !!
Wheels do NOT look good !
how much was it?
These start at $895.00
Ha. As a flat rate tech who can't afford rework... I put Grey RTV on everything!
Looks smooth ! Good job! ❤
Thanks! 😄
Solid! Top KEK! Peace be with you.
How much power does pure 900 push
Should put out 850 to wheels
This bolt can be reused again and again.
This is not stress bolts You can use them again.
*Stretch - and no you cannot. The bolt must be replaced. Please stop spreading misinformation and return to replacing the tires on your Hot Wheels car. Thank you.
