Wow good for your sticking with the Ice Giant because as soon as he was giving her special oil I'd have been like "nope I'm out" 🤣. But I am trying to make this the year of more DNFs the moment realize I'm not into a story. I love the cover of "Flowers for the devil." 🥶🧊

This time i managed to read a few. First i read "Fire in frost" by Alicia Rades. This is a ya book about a teenage girl who can see ghosts and also has visions. She sees the ghost of a former classmate and then tries to figure out how to help her. It didn't have much of a romance. It is implied that a friend of hers likes her and that's it. It was still pretty good. I gave it 4 stars. Then i read "Stone cold" by H.B. Jacks. This is a paranormal poly romance with a human woman and three gargoyles. This was spicy and had a decent plot. I gave it 4 stars too. Then i read "Ice breaker" by Caitlin Ricci. This is a college mm hockey romance. It was really cute and had a few spicy scenes but it needed some more editing. I gave it 3 stars. And the last one i read was "Of ice and heartbreak". This is a fantasy romance. We follow this girl who thinks she is a witch. But on her 21st birthday she turns out to be fae. So she leaves from the human world and goes to the fae world. There she discovers that she's the lost princess of the winter court. On her coming out ball she meets her mate and he rejects her. A few years later the prince of the summer court comes along and proposes a marriage of allegiance. She accepts and they agree to fake date so her mate gets jealous. Of course they end up falling in love. I loved this one! I gave it 5 stars. The second book is the story of the mate that rejected her. And there's another series about her best friend who is a witch. I plan on reading those too at some point. All the books were free from a stuff your kindle day.

I haven't thought about looking for romance only bookstores near me but I might have to look into that! I've been to quite a few indie bookstores in my area since we're blessed with them but not any that focus on one area. That one looked super fun. ❤
