Forest of Illusion (LMMS Arrange) [Super Mario World]
Had this almost finished laying on my disk for a while, and then decided to add some more stuff to it this week. This is the result.
As for the cover art, I drew it on a tablet! But the result is still not.. that great. I need to get better with that.

Been working on this one for a while. Pretty happy about it! I'm starting to like OpenMPT. The UI is awful on wine (and in general compared to Furnace imo) but I'm getting better on... actually making decent tunes with it. @SwapXFO basicamente, permite você modular a onda quadrada do AY usando registros de envelope, fica bem parecido com o PWM do C64

Interesting to see both Furnace and LMMS on the same song. How did you combine the two?
Oh! Not much. I made it with Furnace but the piano sample that appears at the start is a mix of 2 or 3 different instruments, done in LMMS. But I often use it to render soundfonts into wav files, sometimes with reverb (did that for the snare) or some other effect.

also, is lmms ok for you? I haven't touched it since 2020, it was my first daw and back then I felt it was cryptic and difficult to use, but I wonder if it's worth it to go back to it now that I'm more versed in how daws work
@@LightsPersonalAcc thanks! lmms is okay for me, but it is wonky at times (user interface glitches, small options not saving and me having to set them every time i open it) and i feel like plugin support (*on linux*) is very lacking (it works but depending on the format you use it you might have to use an assist plugin). Still, since i've gotten used to it, so i can open it up and throw my ideas onto a file pretty fast :)
