I have never taken the time to comment on a youtube video and i have watched thousands of videos, so me taking the time to comment on this video is an extremely significant action. I simply want to say that this guy is so very extremely annoying!!! My goodness, can anyone honestly say they enjoy watching this guy?! I need the info he is trying to offer but listening to his delivery is worse than nails on a chalkboard! I can only hope he chooses to stop wasting peoples time by acting so ridiculously irritating!

I literally just came here to say that I’ve got a 1975 XLCH that’s been around the block more times than your sister, I picked her up barely knowing shit about Harley’s but always wanting one and boy was she pretty in pictures (again just like your sister.) But, like your sister, I got her home and figured out that she’s more trouble than she’s worth. Then my Covid hit and my life fell apart, you could write a country song with my story (lost my job, wife left with the kid truck and dog, only dad I ever had died on my sons birthday etc.) and i let my sporty project sit for way longer than I’m happy to admit. And it got worse, longest story short I’m now on a fixed income and considered letting my one little luxury go… being a “vintage” Harley owner… Then i found your videos. And while I’m currently between the means of building cool shit I just drew a plan for my first custom Harley part, so I’m designing coop shit. And realistically, you inspiring me to design cool shit probably just saved my life. Idk if you’ll ever see this, but thank you

Maybe I missed where you first measured for distance from center of drive sprocket to where the axle sits in the stock frame so you keep the same distance after welding on the weld on frame piece sit in the stock frame. But I noticed you kept cutting the new tail sections down in order to get them to align with the stock frame. My question is how much shorter is the distance from the sprocket to the axle now? I guess you can always take a link or two out of the chain to make up for the shorter distance? But another issue and maybe it's esthetics only but when you cut more from the top tubes and not from the bottom to match...it appears(and maybe it's just the camera angle) but it appears that the tail section is pointing up just a tad. With the frame set on the table level as it should be, look at the elongated opening for the axel, the slit that allows the axel to be adjusted front and back. Notice how it isn't perfectly parallel? It's slightly angled down(or up depending on how you see it). But not perfectly level. It's s little thing but just wondering if now, if you compared the stock frame with the new added on rigid tail is this frame shorter?

Why would you ever wanna ride a hard tail? Rattling at ever bump, super uncomfortable unstable. Shitty long trip or short. Terrible handling . The list goes on. It’s like people putting o the smallest tank possible and carrying two gas cans or making the whole pack stop every town.
