it really does. it's so nice. if i wasn't in the mood to downsize, i would keep it. i think i prefer the HHKB aftermarket cases, i feel like it offers more of a difference in sound / feel, compared to this vs. an OEM realforce (if that makes sense)

hahaha it’s a lot of fun. i still want to swap the domes (to something uniform) i change the way i type on the board depending on what i’m doing (i.e, making music vs. work) and the variability messes me up lol

not too sure actually! i've never tried the midway60 myself, would you say it's similar? i haven't seen something implemented in this way, though that might just be in my limited experience

@@nikostephen510 I think its similar, where there are tabs on the plate that are pressed down by the top case. I guess only difference would be that the o-ring/plate/pcb assembly is a bit loose on the bottom case.

i really liked it when i had it!! that board was so comfy to type on because it was such a low typing angle, and the weight was SICK, lol.

hahahaha, i appreciate that. yes, the split weights are really nice! and on the inside, the weight spans the entire width of the board, which adds a little bit of heft.

hahaha, these reds feel incredibly smooth!! and they sound really full in this board. definitely pleasant to type on these switches in here. might be the mounting + plate that add to the experience.

Isnt this mounting style kinda similar to your Parlay's double oring mount?

@@Arciellan it's close. the Parlay had vertical compression from the top and bottom case, and the plate tabs were secured with o-ring strips in the top case. you can think of this as like a drop-in o-ring with a top case as a lid.

i agree. i had to swap gmk hooty out because the sublegends were raised, and it was annoying me to type on LOL i did end up swapping it back for some MX blacks though, but the set i have is a bit overlubed, so i'm going to try to find another set or just pick another batch and relube it myself.
