do any of you offroading guy ever done anything upgrading the motor and trans to add more power and low end torque to these big rig since all u do is adding more weight ,lifting,bigger tires to the rig? more weight + bigger tires = loss of low end torque, pw and acceleration.

If I have a light truck 2001 lx with ahc can I just crank the torsion bars at the front a couple of rotations to get the front to be level with the back? I don’t know how many turns is too much or how to gage if it’s already been messed with or had never been touched. Currently has a slight slope from back to front any tips would be appreciated!

I never ended up pulling the trigger on aftermarket UCAs exactly along the lines of what you had talked about haha, way too many differing experiences from people to make me feel comfortable in that kind of a purchase. I recently installed Whiteline KTA310 UCAs which seem to be very well built. They correct for up to 2.75” of lift and have a very standard ball joint. Also -way more reasonably priced than other aftermarket options.

I've been looking into new upper control arms for my 100 series and have narrowed it down to the SPCs and Dobinsons. I'm leaning more toward the Dobinsons because they have another 3 degrees of caster built in, have replaceable Senkei ball joints, and are set-and-forget. I don't wheel anything close to as tough as I've seen on your channel. Curious if you know anyone with experience with the Dobinsons or if anyone else does to give me some input.

Focus on tools and equipment and less on blunder bottles and being a gym bro. 🤣

I’ve got water trickling in through the speaker vent in the cargo area. Before I go stripping it all out can you give any tips from where the water may be getting in. It a UK 2004 100 series 4.2 tdi Many thanks and video gives me some encouragement to tackle the job My body shop could even see where the water was getting in……water trickling from a speaker isn’t normal I also plan fitting a new carpet Cheers
