Another one-pattern dub techno session. I’m always drawn to the simplicity of this approach. There’s a certain challenge in keeping a track interesting with a small amount of variation, but that’s what makes it so rewarding. It forces me to really focus on the nuances of the rhythm, the textures, and the subtle changes that can make a big difference. It’s a constant balancing act between repetition and evolution. I love the way a well-executed one-pattern track can feel like a hypnotic journey. It’s a testament to the power of simplicity and the artistry of repetition. Take care ✌🏼😊

I never get tired of the bubbling sound of a TB-303, and it’s funny how it cuts through anything like a sharp knife. @@GustavSandstedt i also have td-3 and roland t-8. But I’m new to synths. Maybe not completely new but lack of free time is my problem. If I can ask, any advice about how to make some spacey acid sounds. Zoom ms70 CD-R for fx. I mean not typical acid house or acid sound. Like for deep techno.
@rybakarol I’m a newbie with the TD-3 so I’m still experimenting with it. But I have chosen connect I to my Digitone so I can apply chorus, delay and reverb on it. That made a huge difference.

what are the labels on the front of the TD3 ?
😁 that’s label tape with handwritten start point settings for the TD-3 for each session in this project. All sessions is a part of a live gig I did before the summer.

Thanks 😊 Ableton is just for recoding the master channel on the bluebox mixer, so everything is controlled from the Digitone and Digitakt.

Thanks 😊🙏🏼 The MS is hidden under the TD-3 in this case handling the kick, hats and snares. But I’m thinking one of them, or both is getting less important now on. I’m experimenting with different things at the moment. Next project is going to be a Digitone only with a new concept, and I’m digging into overbridge to get some variation and learn some new approaches.
