I am an urban archeologist and photographer. These are videos that I take while out exploring interesting, abandoned and sometimes haunted places.Just enjoying life one day at a time.
Detroit Edison
These old trains just appear to be sitting and rotting away. Old steam train was Detroit Edison 202. There is a Chessie Caboose and a passenger car. They maybe be here on display but I am not sure.

This mansion was built in the 1800's when the owner moved to Ohio because he didn't believe in slavery. This area of Ohio became a prosperous community and was on the Ohio Erie Canel which was one of the most important trade routes of the time. This mansion was also part of the underground railroad. @@Nadskiiii thank you for watching. I'm sure it looks way different now than what it did then.
I saw this on travelwithaustin! Goldfish are funny
Where these trains located?
The caboose must have been in use after 1973, as that's when the Chessie System name began.
That was almost as long as The Great Wall of China!
That rail vehicle at 2.47 is the strangest thing I've ever seen ? Can someone please its purpose?
That is an electric locomotive of a style which was used for pushing cars such as coal hoppers to an unloader & being skinny it could work between tracks by using retractable arms on its sides to push the coal hoppers on an adjacent track. The style was popular in the 1900s & often ran off paired trolley wires so as to keep that electricity out of reach. Box atop cab would be where electrical equipment was, with 1 or 2 trolley poles atop it. Atlas Car Company in Cleveland, Ohio, built a number of them for use at large coal docks. The C&O had a diesel powered variant with what looked like a narrowed GE 44 tonner hood.
