Triangle Strategy: Piercing the Goddess's Shield | But Exharme has triple the HP and a new skill.
No quietus or items or deaths or revives like always... Except Exharme I guess started stacking HP bracelets and other jewelry, he has triple the HP and a new skill: Hossabara's Cleave ability.
Honestly His extra HP flips the whole dynamic of this fight on its head, instead of luring Exharme to get shredded, instead you lure and contain Exharme and slowly chip his huge HP pool, while half of your forces shutdown and slowly destroy the reinforcements. Cleave is so... scarily natural for Exharme to have and gives him IMO much needed AOE and can make an utter mess of your plans.

I think Trish's AI breaks when you go on the building and make her wrap around the building for one turn by moving some units to the far side of the building then camping at the building. I guess because she never views any of her abilities to be "worth it" anymore. But either way, if you don't use this strategy yo...

      @@Fragmaster01 it triggered Rolands follow up. That's why, Roland hits exharme from behind plus a natural damage bonus due to knights bane. Even if Frederica did 1 damage the extra follow up was basically an extra regular hit off on exharme. 78 damage is pretty hard to pass up on

    Very impressive. The Ezana strats were interesting(I tend to lean towards Corentin, but I can see how the higher damage is rewarded). It was amusing watching to see "Are they going to do what I'd do?" followed by "Yesss" or "No, you FOOL". I think your only actual misplay was trying to provoke Exharme, only to see that he's immune to mental statuses. I like the top corner strats. It avoids trying to hold down two paths at once, and lets you lean hard into Erador taunting and Milo tempting. With the enemy running willy nilly, only a few actually push the stairs. I think the only thing I would have changed with your comps would be to have Ezana focus more on keeping the weather and luck up, and having Benedict go more into dragon shield over Twofold. I felt the pain when you saw that the puddle would send lightning directly into the hawk trap. It would be nice if you could choose before the map to not use the traps, since the ending rewards it and the game constantly autotargets them annoyingly.

      @@Fragmaster01 I wasn't trying to provoke exharme, I practically know all of exharmes stats by heart at this point. I was trying to hook other units. NGL, only reason I bought ezana was for rain, but wind is nice. Luck is great, just that besides sera, not a lot of units need that 5 luck. But I do think I had chances to pop luck for free that I just didn't take, soz. Benedicts dragons isn't really needed once exharme is dead. Twofold let's you ruin the life of a specific unit. Which is amazing for getting in and out in a unit heavy map like this. @@Leah-Heala I watched the video in like 3 pieces, so I might have missed that you hit someone else. Mostly the damage on Archibald with the wind was exceptional, so it seemed reasonable to keep it up once the puddle strats failed. I'm pondering how I'd do a playthrough like this. I think for sanity's sake, I'd allow auto-life(Resurrection earrings, Geela, Maxwell), but not quietus revives. Units can get back up, but not leave the field. Medina would be the only one allowed to use healing items(no panacea pellets), and Picoletta the only one allowed to use offensive items(because that's part of their kit). I suppose you could say Hossabarra is allowed to feed people spices(tavern owner) if you really wanted to get picky and have the full set.

I'm still trying to do them a few weeks later, but Avlora keeps doing the funny and doing 350+ damage on regular attacks. • @Leah-Heala
    @Leah-Heala 2 месяца назад

    Oh, and I forgot to say this in the tips section of the description, but Exharme is actually very devastating, he can do massive amounts of damage with sandstorm as well as debuff, He's just a better Roland... (he only has -1 speed [26] compared to Roland's 27 speed) stats wise he's about similar to Roland, 5 less HP, but he's significantly more tanky defense wise (59 def, Roland has 48) and good magic def (56 as compared to 45). He can tank a hit or two, and also do big damage (62 strength [56 for Roland], as well as 54 luck [roland has about 10 less] and 61 accuracy as compared to roland's 54) you just have to make sure he's safe because he has hypermobility for a green unit (6 move) and WILL sometimes wander too far away if left unchecked, attacking the left rocks is easiest because if you can get him up there, he doesn't really like going back down, will help you win the fight, and doesn't really intrude (he just kinda stands there.) if you block him off. He's actually kinda nice, just make sure his low HP doesn't get in the way, despite having 59 def and almost 60 evasion, and having 45 something magic defense, he WILL die to focus fire. Do note Roland can become better in some regards because Roland can use accessories, but Exharme isn't a bad green unit stats wise, he has pretty great stats, but his really bad HP means his defense and evasion can only go so far.

      Yeah, they truly are doing a last stand. TBF none of the endings are a just cause, I just, as someone who has seen religious trauma in the people I love, feel a bit iffy on this particular route, but Benedict's uber capitalist society might honestly be really terrible too. Not to mention Frederica's ending literally plunging all 3 nations into a civil war that was told to last for... well... a long time. Like imagine you're a regular person in house wolffort, and your lord just... leaves you, you aren't brought along, your land is invaded by Hyzante, Glenbrook which was once a nation that just somewhat reclaimed itself, is now BACK into disarray now that the king is just gone... You still are hurting due to salt shortages perhaps even more now due to the wars... Except now you have just Benedict, your house's military might is all but gone, and now you're just sitting in the middle of 3 nearly dead nations all looking at you. I cannot imagine being almost betrayed like that by someone who is your leader and supposed to protect you.

Benedict’s route sucks too because even though Hyzante has been crushed and Aesfrost was brought to heel, Norzelia still has the scars of Hyzante and Aesfrost’s warped ideologies. I always found this map a bit weirdly designed with the win con being defeat Idore instead of escort the Roselle to safety, especially since you lose if a Rosellan dies. As a result in a normal playthrough it’s way easier to just rush Idore before the cavalry units get to the Roselle instead of playing the map as intended.

    I just realized that I forgot to say that the supplementary units have speed bracelets, I forgot to give Decimal another magic bracelet and I forgot virtually all of archibald's accessories... I could've done this WAY faster.... EDIT: correction... apparently half of my units had no accessories.... whoops

      well, this comp as dumb as it is... Is pretty funny, it's hilarious against any target on high ground, Julio gives decimal TP to spam height, Benedict just spams now, archibald spams as well, seranoa can give damage spices, and help TP charge etc. Then you can bring literally anyone else, I just called it siege artillery cuz that's kinda what it is. It's actually not bad, I beat lyla's golden route fight with it if you want to see that. further edit I should bring ezana, so Archie gets raging winds damage up

      The battle is surprisingly simple once you deal with a few select units. The small staircase lets jen almost always push the mage into your team so you can annihilate them, with any TP battery with Lionel can almost perma halt all 3 rouges, and if one of them doesn't sleep Jens can spring trap them into your team so you can beat them down. Patriatte is a bit touchier... It took me a few games to realize where he goes so, I can trap and surround him, Hughette has a 45% blind chance too if you cannot afford to take a hit which isn't bad for a boss, allowing you to more easily chew through his HP. Benedict is my "oh shit" character where if things go sideways. However, I accidentally used Raging beast instead of Bulwark on Anna. Symon isn't actually THAT bad of a green unit he does good damage and has ok stats. He, Erador and a few other units can CC and dispatch everyone else. Segmenting the 4 key threats is key to this fight.

    The rogues are the worst part of this map by far. Also Endless Speech is actually pretty solid.

    • @Leah-Heala
      @Leah-Heala 3 месяца назад

      Yeah, and if one of them evades the sleep jens can spring them into your team so you can nuke them.

    One of my favorite battles in the game. Honestly using the traps is way more fun and this map has an absurd amount of units compared to Ch.7 Avlora.

    • @Leah-Heala
      @Leah-Heala 3 месяца назад

      Yeah, the traps give more of an atmosphere and you get to hear objectively the best soundtrack in game (confirmed by me of course.) Honestly the only reason I bought Ezana was cuz the rain looked cool XD. I plan to do Roland's Battle, but Gustadolph is actually really God damn annoying, he can do upwards of 400 damage to virtually every unit you have. Not to mention he's immune to silence, sleep, and fury, meaning that I need to hit a paralyze on him or he's just going to nuke me twice and it's GG, and even if I do tank it, his elite healers have Grant TP.... The mages can immobilize... Svarog is either getting himself killed (if your team is forward enough, he rushes the elite blade and the bowman.) Or he's non-existent in the battle at all (If your team is far enough back, he instead reroutes down to you which takes about 5 of his turns.) Basically, Roland's Battle deathless no quietus, and no items is so hilariously brutal that it'll take me a while.

      @medmax5941 3 месяца назад

      @@Leah-Heala How does it compare to the Gustadolph battle on Roland’s route? I feel like it could be easier since the map is bigger, Gustadolph takes a few turns to approach, and Exharme does decent damage. But Exharme also charges in and gets himself killed, and Gustadolph has Absolute Zero with its huge range.

    • @Leah-Heala
      @Leah-Heala 3 месяца назад

      @@medmax5941 It sucks but is manageable simply because there's a few tactics you could use if you truly are that afraid. For one you could bring narve and a TP battery and just unfreeze all squares, if you don't wanna use ice stones. You have significantly more range, you could simply have a battery and outrange him with say... Archibald, decimal, etc. I for the most part always try to include the main cast because I think that just looks cool in these types of videos and bringing along those that have dialogue with the boss. However sometimes it gets... Weird, and is suboptimal. So I typically play with one hand tied behind my back. But if I need to I will swap to a more adequate character. But Roland's Battle is harder. Because... Mainly the fact that most of the enemies are in one area, there's two mages you need to kill that can be batteried by the healers. The hawk blades also need to be shut down. Aesfrosti blades both elite and regular suck because crippling blow can do 75% of your units HP. Elites have physical counter and sweeping slash. Gustadolph has a huge damage AOE, and there's a few Aesfrosti bowmen. Along with that... If you camp at the back Gustadolph will join and you have to fight him and his entire army at once. If you push, you can kill quite a few units... However this causes svarog to rush. He rushes an elite blade and bowman. He cannot win that fight. So you have to send a unit to aid him. So you need to shutdown the remaining forces, while also protecting svarog. It is tough. I do not use quietus, so no lightwave, or missed opportunity or restore. No items so no additional healing. If I don't bring geela, if a mage hits immobilization on my units they're actually literally just stuck there for 3 turns. It's not an impossible battle just the unique circumstances are brutal for what I want and might require me to forego some units I want to show off dialogue for... In order to win the fight. (Ps, this is also why I made some suboptimal plays in this battle like having Milo follow up Seranoa.)
