Currency Collection - 10 Years of Collecting
Просмотров 8 тыс.Год назад
After ten years I have put together a pretty good stack and have made good progress towards my goal of a complete type set. Under my current outline I am missing around 54 pieces for my large and small size collection with almost all of them now in the 4 figure realm. It is all about the journey!! Thank you for watching!

I wish my voice was in better shape so I could’ve talked more but I’m happy to get this out there. Almost had a mishap with the binder so that’s why it cut out. Enjoy :)

I meant Columbus sighting land not the pilgrims! Hope you enjoy my collection!
Currency Relics, I just need you to know I'm responsible for about 1,000 of the 7.5k views on this video. 😂
I'm focusing almost solely on my pre-1900 type set. Have the 1869 $1 and $5 and the most amazing thing about them is the microprinting! As much as I like the rainbow, I get my magnifier out and just love that micro print technology for 1869. So cool! Great rainbow note, and the 1878 $20 is killer! Love the red roman numeral Xs in the design. I'm a 'big note' guy, not really interested in the small size notes at this point, and the pre-1900 is where it is at for me.
You and me both! The older notes have a majestic quality to them. I noticed the microprinting after I had the notes already and thought it was super cool. Makes me wonder if there are any hidden messages in some of these notes still to discover!
Can't wait to see the bigger fish - because, damn, these are some pretty large fish! Awesome on the floral design $20 - stunning! The Rainbow still has great eye appeal where you can still see the "Rainbow". Fantastic additions.
Thank you! I’m pretty happy to have all of the rainbow notes minus the 50&100. It’s interesting how the rainbow pattern is different for each denomination.
I’ve always wanted one so pretty so expensive happy new year
In your previous episode a few months back, you had all your graded notes in a book made for graded currency. Any chance you could tell me what that book is an who made it or where to find it? Anyhow, excellent collection.
They are in the Whitman Graded Currency pages. I currently have those pages in a binder which isn’t long enough to cover the pages completely unfortunately. I still really like the pages. Thank you for watching!
Outstanding! That $20 LT looks fantastic. Great Eye appeal. The Rainbow $10 is a score in any grade. Glad you got that $10 FRBN. Don't see those as often. Nice note. 👍
Thank you my friend! I agree I think the $20 has pretty good eye appeal considering. It’s hard to believe how far my collection has come. Thanks for stopping by 😉
Happy New Year, CR! So very happy to hear from you! I am making some power moves on my collection as well. So thankful to have you as inspiration, you have done so much for this community! I hope 2025 is an amazing year for you! Beautiful notes!!!
Thank you so much and happy new year! Now is the time for big moves in the currency game I think 😂 I’m happy I can be an influence for the community. It really is a wonderful hobby. Thank you and take care!
Phenomenal update! Great notes. Thank you sharing Tyler.
Thanks so much! Happy new year!
That is beautiful.
One of my favorite notes probably grades between a 5 and an 8 and even though i could easily upgrade it for less than $100 i don think that i ever will. Its o ly worth about $25 while i have some around $1000 but the memories it adds to my collection is worh far more. Moral of this story is dont be embarrassed by your early items.
Outstanding collection
How many dollars would an album like that cost?
I was expecting some bangers but damn lol. Educational and the ornate/flowery seal are my favorite types.
Nice, you have a fine start on a set of hard to find notes.
Wow. I just saw your entire video collection from 3 yeiago and was Extremely Impressed. So i decided to look at your channel and watching your first video i came to the conclusion that you made some goals and never stopped with your mission. Dang what an AMAZING collection.

1882 $1000 is my dream top 3
How can you afford these notes at such a young age? I am impressed yet investing is this one way or another congrats this collection is amazing
Very impressive collection very inspiring for my own
Suggestion for the next video, lessons learned over the years. Things you would go back and tell yourself to do and not do.
I have learned a lot! I think that would be a great video idea.
What binder and inserts do you use? I like the black around the currency. Thanks!
Very Nice!
Nice collection. Thanks for sharing your collection update.
Great collection! Just curious where you got your book to keep your graded notes from?
Beautiful collection, you should be very proud of what you have put together, congratulations!
Where did you pickup those large size pages for the graded notes?
@@StarATL they are the certified currency pages you can find on coin wizard.
@@currencyrelics2227 what avenues would you recommend looking at for picking up large notes?
Exceptional collection and organization. I like that sweet spot of VG/F for obtaining the more expensive notes. What is the brand on those pages for holding graded notes? Where did you source them?
Thank you! I got the Whitman graded currency pages which they offer on their ebay page. Keep in mind they have their own binder they want you to use the pages with but I trimmed mine to size.
Very nice collection. Thanks for sharing
Cool set of note's. I see I have a long way to go for my collection.
Great collection! I came over from Ontario 100!
The best collection of historical currency I've seen 💯😊
Thank you so much what a compliment!
Pretty neat collection, ty for sharing.
Vielen Dank

Wow, Great Collection 😳
how much is your collection worth? at least 15k?
😂 😂 something like that
Helluva collection!! Nice !!
Wow!
Awesome
The king has returned. Beautiful collection. Watching this got me researching expensive notes. It's too bad certain notes are unavailable to private collectors lol, would be crazy to one day own the $100,000 bill 😂
Sadly there are a few types that are locked away in museums or were entirely redeemed. Unless I bought the Smithsonian 😂
Your Morgan back is awesome and like you I wouldn’t care that the paper is toned. Phenomenal collection and I’m looking forward to seeing more from you.
Thank you!
Very nice collection. I would be happy to own many of those notes in any conditions.
Great notes, thanks for sharing
That $50 Reading is an awesome note! Fantastic collection well done. Do you only collect large size?
It’s hard for me to believe that note fell into my lap the way it did. I have small and fractional notes as well but I haven’t made many additions recently. I have come to specialize in large size types.
Beautiful overview of the different styles, versions and categories. I’m sure I’ll return to this video many times as I grow my collection. Thanks!
You have a lot of great notes. Love that tombstone. I love the holders for your graded notes. The ones you have look more reinforced than the ones I use. Where did you get them.
I appreciate it! These pages are the Whitman certified currency pages. They want you to use their binder for them but I cut out the middle to make them fit in a three ring binder.
Love the organization and planning. You have an awesome collection.🤎 Did you notice your 1880 $20 Silver Certificate has a "Scattered Ladder" serial number? All the numbers are there between 2 and 8, just not in order. Not sure that adds any value, but it sure makes the note extra cool! 🤎
Than you Ontario! I don’t think I would’ve ever noticed that about the $20. That’s pretty neat!
So excited to see a post from you, you've been a big inspiration to me. I just started my currency collection a few months ago and you have a collection to aspire to, for sure. I think even the notes you bought in lower condition have amazing eye appeal. Thanks again for posting, love your content.
I’m happy I can be that person for other collectors now. It’s a long ride with spurts of intense passion I’ve found. The low grade notes hold that history like you were saying and I definitely enjoy that part of them. Uncirculated notes don’t have much character. Thanks for tuning in!
