@@BetterTallPaul I've had a dodgy hip for years and had it replaced 3 months ago. Feeling much better now at 60. I realize I prefer a relaxing cruise ride with the Hobie Adventure, which is really stable with a furling sail.

Hi Allan, I'm glad you enjoy my videos. I have used it without the amas only once, and I found it to be very stable and easy to maneuver. I am generally happy I bought Adventure Island for three reasons. The first is the price, which is about 3K cheaper. Secondly, I can launch over a Levi wall and get it back in by myself. The Tandem would have been nice, but for me, it would have been rare for someone else to join me and they are longer and heavier. Currently, kayaking is taking a back seat as I'm waiting on a hip replacement in June. So, I doubt that there will be more videos in the near future. If your just after a little exercise and not interested in fishing, I would look on FB marketplace for a cheap kyack from $200 to $400. Remember you need a life jacket.

weight limit for the single seat Hobie is 182kg. If you put on trampolines and you under the weight limit you sure can.

yes can capsize, but it would have to be extremly windy. It's very stable. 15-20 knts is ideal, but it can handle stronger winds.
