So it's worth bearing in mind that my snapshot at the end is compiled from the start of set 2, so doesn't take into account meta evolutions over time as much as it stacks them all in together. Bossk blue has won some very high-profile large events, and Han2 blue... performs well, but rarely actually wins larger events. Like Sabine ECL in that regard! 🤣

I am not sure I am clever enough to be ahead of the meta! 😂 When I said I had no luck on the Sunday, part of that was being drawn against the guy that finished 2nd in the first round. He really ran his Sabine ECL deck very well and I made a couple of mistakes that he punished. But then the final game I came up against a deck I felt I should have beaten, but the problem for me in running a very common deck was that my opponent had just lost to another Han Blue deck so was able to adjust the way he played for our matchup, whereas I had never faced a Chirrut Yellow deck before and made some rookie errors as a result.

FFG have been saying for some time not to use their software for tournaments. Ever since they started the first store showdowns. It is a hot mess! I’m pretty glad they’ve made the switch to Melee

@@unlimitedpowertcg It was interesting. It took something out every game - shield counters, experience, bounties, made someone resource entrenched instead of playing it. It also became priority target after people figured out what she does, and the 3/2 body is so easy to take out. I only got to play blonde sabine so her not being a rebel didn't hurt as much.

I played Sab Y pure aggro go wide with no poe / wrecker / saber, just lots of cheap units with surprise strike and sneak attack, turned out to be more vulnerable to bad draws. I mean when it came together, having more units then they can take out + surprise strike and sneak attack closed games very fast. But when I didn't draw Flt LT and SS... I was really missing the heavy hitters. Top decking a couple of 2/3 and 3/2 on turn 5 doesn't feel good :))

The next round will have more, we've been informed. 🙂
