I have a 2009 Chevy Impala put it on a scan tool you'll get codes mine is saying to get a new throttle foot pedal and check your ABS brakes because that code will throw a traction control got to test your wires on your Hub front wheels for the traction control abs that's all you need get a scanner read the codes and it'll tell you the part what you need I got to do the same thing mine doesn't shut off it just slips if I make a hard left or a right has nothing to do with the transmission it has to do with the traction control abs

Unplug the positive terminal to the battery leave it unhook for about 5 minutes and why you have it unhooked cut the lights on and anything that's using power so it draws all the current from the computer then cut all that off reattach the positive terminal to the battery that should reset the whole computer and everything c if that helps

The computer system in a car shouldn't be able to disable the vehicle like that, especially over something as lame as tire pressure. I get it with the anti-theft stuff, kind of, but that's ridiculous. It's like we don't even get to own our own cars anymore. Our control over our vehicle is taken away with stuff like that. Computer sensors malfunction, not to mention that can strand people. I don't know what it is with Chevy cars always stranding people. My aunt had a Chevrolet Celebrity back in the mid 80s until the very early 90s, maybe even 1990 or 1991, and it would do that "vapor lock" nonsense that strands you places and makes you late to work. She bought a Dodge Spirit next, and that never happened with it. What's worse is that your car being disabled is engineered into it intentionally. Vapor lock was just a flaw.
