@@hattrick8684 I use propane and oxygen, my most popular short is cannon testing. It shoots potatoes but I welded a Lil stopper so bbs fit perfectly 👌

First this was such a cool project to witness and let me say you finished this thing a lot faster than i originally thought. Beautiful attention to detail and genuinely such a cool piece. I think an F-14 Tomcat would be a nice little project to mess around with while you think of a bigger project. (Also swang wangs are cool af so theres that). Perhaps after that a matching aircraft carrier with little working catapults. A spud cannon dragon would be a pretty fun project if you're looking for lots of work. If you wanna flex your spud gun powers perhaps a scale model of a firearm with working internals.

I used to be a hobbyist myself and I used to build a lot of things like that. I miss it very much, but Arthritis is kind of put the brakes on it but anyway, I think you did just fine.

@Not.The.Avg.Smitty Thats cool! In the Battleship New Jersey is docked on the Delaware, and they rent it out for all sorts of events. Its a pretty cool place to have a Halloween party, but they employ veterans who will be very harsh if guests are disrespectful to the old girl.
@@archangel2781 my boy was at Norfolk and had a chance to go on NJ, now regrets not going. Now he's in FL watching his ship in drydock.

What would you say is the percentage of time you spent planning your build? Compared to the actual fabrication time.
@@JohnMonreal great question! I did spend a lot of time looking/planning it I'd say easy 15% of the time. Not counting measuring, marking, waiting for bandsaw, etc...
