Hi, I'm glad you like the video
I walk down the road and often see Ibis birds acting as bin chickens scavenging among the rubbish bins. How do vultures do in urban areas or has this role gone to others?
I love your question! The answer isn’t particularly easy, but it boils down to our actions. We need to keep our cities and towns clean, avoid leaving garbage uncovered, and never feed wildlife. For example, near my house, a coffee shop left their garbage bins open, attracting bears. This became a problem because the bears got used to being around people. Currently, with turkey vultures in my area, they usually take off as soon as they see people. By managing our waste properly and not feeding wildlife, we can reduce these encounters and keep both animals and people safe. I hope this helps answer your question!
Amazing critters.
Yes they are!
My favourite birds! They dont get enough love ❤
You are right. They are such massive and fascinating birds.👍

Eucalyptus is a terrible source of nutrients, which is why they sleep so much and need to eat their mama's poop to get to gut microbes to digest it. What's even worse is they can't even recognize Eucalyptus if the leaves aren't on the trees. They'll starve sitting in front of a pile of eucalyptus leaves.
Oh wow, thanks for the info, that I did not know.
It's probably toxic to them too, might be why they sleep for 18 hours 😂
They most definitely have a cast iron stomach.
❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks so much, I am glad you like the video
fantastically Video with the Koalas Take care Carina 🙋🏻♀️🤗❤️🐨🐨🐨
Thank you, I am glad you like the video
Have you ever heard them call? From a distance you hear "honk, honk". But as they get closer you hear the complete call " Honk, eh. Honk, eh".
You know, I have to pay attention to that, wouldn't surprise me, they are Canadian, eh lol
Always liked them, and kind of admire their tough 'no nonsense' attitude towards the protection of their nests, fledglings and each other.
They are absolutely amazing. We have a park right outside our kitchen window. That's where they stop and rest twice a year. They are amazing to watch and how they interact with people, pets, and each other.

These are beautiful lizards and very intelligent. Unfortunately, in the state of Florida, they were recognized as invasive, so some scoundrels destroy iguanas.
We have the same problem here in canada, for instance, in bc the Fallon deer is an invasive species, and the government is trying to find out what to about it. Thank you so much for your comment

Interesting mini-documentary. One correction: leopards are not apex predators as stated here. In most places they are secondary to lions (Africa) or tigers (India).
Thanks, I am glad you like the video. Yes, you are right, in some areas leopards are apex predators and in other areas they are not. Thanks for your input.
