@0pda I agree I never really was feeling Common truth be told. He was never my cup.of tea and I couldn't understand what the fuss was about. Each to their own as his a talented artist

@@AcousticsUnfiltered common was for sure talented but sadly timing is a factor. he had it but not rly enough of it to survive the 90s. way too much competition and his subject matter again sadly people werent wanting that in the 90s. he had a few good features during the span of his career but his performances werent impactful enough to set himself apart for me. i think maybe he would have done well in the late 80s rap scene idk. maxwells discography wasnt much but he did go num 1 on his second album. both talented in their respective arts but i feel both would have had a bigger impact if they got their production right and tweaked a few things

@0pda For real that era was the golden generation so many greats, too many for him to join the elite but he was the next level below. His acting was not as good as his music but it was decent.
