Mate you seem like a good dude, and watching a few of your vids i came across your trip to London with your bird.The only thing i could think of is i bet she wishes he wasnt drinking. Some people cant stop once they start and you have admitted to that . Booze is not your friend and it fucks up everyone else's day around you. Stay strong mate and believe me you not alone and you stronger than you think. I am a drug addict and i lost everything in a matter of 3 years to addiction and didnt see a way out and here i sit back on track and drug free. Brother I feel your pain. I could have screwed my whole life up on many of nights out. Now I can’t manage alcohol a lot better after speaking with a professional. Now in some social events mate I take magic mushroom chocolate. You feel completely at ease in situations everything becomes super funny and you’re fully relaxed mate. Can’t see how this is still categorised as illegal as it has so many benefits to peoples mental health and overall well being etc. Good luck tho fella you’ve already jumped the biggest hurdle!

Feel for you FIL. I'm 45 years old... Feeling like I've been fighting with one addiction or another since I was about 14 years old. Think this year is the year that I might go tee total forever. Did 109 days at beginning of last year (found the TryDry app great for keeping me on track)... Aiming for 150 days dry at the beginning of this year (at least) and that may just turn into never drinking again. Good luck on your journey. Your body will thank you

Keep going, big man. I was drinking a bottle of vodka a night last few years. Felt awful, but had to get that taste and hit. I'm 36, i've got three kids, my Mrs said it's not just going to kill me psychically but, it'll destroy my family. Also I was spending over £100 a week on vodka. Since I stopped I've saved so much money and feel so much better. I've not drank since before Christmas. 2024. We can all do this together. Wishing you all the best 🙏🤝

the number one diffrence ive noticed in people who get better vs never do is ability to speak about and admit their problem. Alot of poor souls never get past the denial and cant quite bring themselves to admit to themself they have a problem. The first step in fixing it is addressing it.

Take Lithium orotate everyday, i started with 10mg for a week then 20 mg after. After about 3 months of taking i have no interest in alcohol , if i do try to drink i dont like the taste now. Wonder drug. goodluck with your sobriety 💪👍

I can relate to a lot of what you’re going through. , I struggled myself to where I was a homeless street drinker for years. I did many detox’s but I always went back to drinking. I was in aa and na for years too. I finally got clean from alcohol threw a reab called acorn I’m not fully off stuff. I’m struggling with weed now. Stay strong pal your not alone with this You got a funny persona that’s very relatable. Many many people don’t just stop most people fail a good few time before they get it. Don’t be tough on yourself my mate. At Least your acknowledging your problem and putting in action. I believe you’re gonna get sober and maintain it. It just takes time. 👍🏼

Think about how much more energy, health and love you can spend on your friends and family and how much happier yours and their lives will be now you've stopped wasting time with alcohol. Kefir is the bollocks mate 👌🏼 I’ve tried plenty. The best one imo is from home bargains, “Grahams” it’s called, it’s more like milk than yogurt, it doesn’t smell like cheese either. I only buy the plain stuff. Pour over a banana (sliced) and blueberries in a bowl… 👌🏼
