Thanks for the update along with the videos. I'm going to miss Los Lobos and the gelato place that was on deck 5 as both of those were favorites. But, even with the changes I think the Encore is still one of my favorite ships and we will be doing the repositioning cruise in October 2025 (again).

You mentioned new carpets in public spaces. Are the fish still swimming in the hallway carpeting? We board DEC 15. Thanks for sharing your updates.

I can’t wait to see your upcoming on what was completed in dry dock.. We are getting on March 30th for Panama and doing a b2b. Can you share who the cruise director is? And how long they will be on. Thank you

I repeatedly ask myself why, if embarkation time officially starts at noon across almost every sailing, why the check in time slots start at 10/10:30. I was so surprised on disembarking both of my cruises last year, how many folks were rushing the terminal to get in as my sailing folks were still trying to get off and out of the drop off area.

I was in an aft-facing balcony as well (floor 15) before the dry dock sailing, unfortunately, we experienced noise during the renovations at all hours. So sad they are getting rid of that portion of the observation lounge, I was on the Encore twice this year, that area was the main reason, I rebooked. I wish I had known about the changes before booking, I may have changed my mind and opted to book a different ship/sailing.

Please provide video of the changes to deck 15 after your post dry dock voyage. We want to see how the new cabins change deck 15 and the observation lounge. TIA.

Will be taking an Alaska Cruise in April. May or may not opt for H20. Not into specialty dining. Nice seeing older opinions. I'm a senior and hard to find info sometimes. Thanks

I'll be on the leg back to Miami! Solo traveler, booked a Solo Balcony (barely extra ££!) they moved me to Deck 13 BA category but with Solo privileges. Was interested in the upgrade bid to a Haven large cabin, but not happy to pay the £6-700 per person twice ...... They target Solo Travelers, but the upgrades still are for 2 people per cabin. Bizarre!

In this video we talk about the luggage tags. Sometimes they mail them but usually you print your own from a link during online check-in. Then we talk about, how to attach them while traveling. In this vid, we talk about things to discuss with your cabin steward once onboard. On FB, someone mentioned that they arranged getting the coffee maker, mattress pad and bed configuration pre-cruise. They did this by talking with their NCL PCC (Personal Cruise Consultant). Not sure if it can be done when booking through others.
