Keep posting content! This is interesting stuff and you do well on camera. I know trying to create content while working can be difficult, but it really is fascinating. BTW, I got here from a video you did with Eco-Panels of Tennessee, so cross marketing does work.
Quality structure. Should last the test of time. All Pine or did you mix in some White Oak?
run a 12.0 hd batt in this saw and you will love it,yes the batts are expensive but well worth it in the long run,saw is a beast, and run 12.0 batts in all your "big"milwaulkee tools and you will be a believer

Sorry but I don't like electric saws battery pack Shaw's they just don't have the power of a gas change the I'm going to buy a gas chainsaw before I ever buy electric chainsaw because if I got a branch of falls off a tree and I need to remove it and it's raining I don't want to have to wait for not to be raining in Milwaukee is not really a chainsaw company I'd rather go with something that's more reliable that's been around for quite a few years like still like you see I don't want to buy electric chainsaw then turn around and have to buy a gas chainsaw to do something that the electric one can't makes more sense to buy the one that could do everything then the one that can't
You called that a fuel saw that's not a fuel cell that's a battery pack next to the electric saw a fuel saw takes gas
NICE JOB!!! What species of wood?❤👍

❤any wood will erode the steel, they have acids ❤
They are simple to keep apart with some tar paper
This includes the fastener ❤
Great work guys looks awesome
I like the saw. Nice that there is no noise when you stop. It is close performance to my smaller Sthil. I have the 12h batteries and they last long enough that you have to add bar Oil. It would be nice to have a next size bigger. All in all I like the saw and the wife loves it.
Love it!!
Man, this was awesome!! Getting into woodworking and this video helped me so much to understand how lumber is milled and how pieces are selected. Super cool!! Thank you for sharing. Look forward to more videos 👍🇺🇸
Wow that's awesome work
Wonder how long did it actually take.
2 Days!
Beautiful work
👍
Reviewing brand new items defeats the purpose.. An item review after 6 to 12 months hard use is a true review.. You may as well just be a sales man in the shop trying to review brand new items
That's a good point Maybe we should do a new review now that we have abused it for a year. Still my go to shop saw
Well done
It's a fine saw BUT mine leaks oil out the side and bottom constantly and everywhere EXCEPT on the chain. Too bad. Expensive and good company.
Haven't had that problem with this one.
Thats not how to quartersaw oak.😮
How much bar oil leaks out while it hangs?
don't have any issues with leakage seams to do pretty good.
It's "amp-hour" not "milliamp-hour"
Stop buying Milwaukee it's owned by China 🇨🇳 support America buy Dewalt, Craftsman, and Porter Cable
Hahahahhahhaha!! Mah battery??!
Until it just dies and you need to buy a new one or return it
We actually use this saw 5 days a week For small cuts here and there. Probably consume a battery or 2 a day and it holds up very well.
My saw has very light use, looks like new. just out of warranty. Locked up $240 to repair. It's in the trash.
Awesome craftsmanship! What was the purpose of having a bridge in that location? I did not see a river or creek in the video. It appears to be built in a forest. Edit, never mind. I watched the video a second time a saw the small creek running under the bridge in one of the areal shots.
Yes it is an entrance to a beautiful residence. Since the build they have cleared and put in a large pond on one side.
How wide is the bottom horizontal beam? Is it one piece? Looks great.
Yes. 8x10x26 on this one
Wow. Didn't realize a TF beam could be that long. Thanks!
Hey mate. Just bought one of these, and this is the best demo I've seen. Great job. Thanks from Australia.
Awesome, thank you!
These bents look like what I have seen on TimberFrame HQ. I plan on building a scaled version of this as a tree house. Awesome to see this.
You clearly do most of the wood prep off site…..that would be cool to see too.
Thanks for the review
Dude awesome content
Nice work!
Thanks!
Real handcraftship. Not this 2/4 RUclips Fake framing. 100%👍👍👍🇩🇪😁
How to make a Home 🏠 Khieu
Great concept but if middle of woods how you charge battery with out gas generator in which case just have regular saw with gas no generator speed control chainsaw works better if full throttle cutting chain cut better a circular saw is no good half speed can you use in snow that's frozen rain
It's called knowing the situation you'll use a tool.
No different to running out of gas in the woods.
@@micknstacetube really because I've cut wood and is better to have a 2gallon can that gen and a gas can and a battery charger and extra batteries wait that sounds alot easier thst a 2 gallon gas can what was I thinking
@@micknstacetube ever seen the early lumberjack man they was really eco friendly they didn't even use electricity they had pull saws and axes and shot man and candle light eco friendly and if I had to carry a generator why would I use a battery powered saw I'd rather carry a extention cord and put gas in the generator just a thought
@@bradkaberline5828 you can get 150 cuts out of a 12ah battery, so if you’re using the saw as it’s meant to be used for than 1-2 batteries would last all day. No generator needed 🤷🏼
Unless I missed it. I don't think you talked about how the saw works on the 5ah battery vs the 8ah. I have several 5ah and wouldn't mind getting the saw if I don't have to fork out the extra $ for the bigger battery.
They need the HO type batteries. The regular batteries cause the chain to stop randomly.
Is the red lithium the high output
I think I did mention it in the video. That's what is so awesome about Milwaukee's battery tech you get more capacity and more power on a 8AH battery with a fuel tool
Real review with not a single real cut with the chainsaw. Cinematic half-cuts only. Doesn't work in the rain, if you don't already have an M18 High Output battery then do not buy this saw!
Most people don't work outside when it's raining, especially people cutting trees. It's dangerous to be out there where you could slip and lose control over tools.
Why don't you house the joints? I know it's alot more labor. Is it to keep the cost down?
On this particular job there is some hidden hardware the adds the required strength. So yes we did eliminate the housings to lower cost in this particular frame
Awesome job! What species did y'all use in building this?
We used southern yellow pine!
Thanks! Any concern with syp holding up with exposure to water?
It this particular build we actually have our post pressure treated. as well as a post base with a 1 inch standoff. They preform very well when built this way.
beautiful!
Thank you!
Really good vids. Pretty place. What part of the country is this lake?
We are in rainbow city AL on this build
I have a problem keeping the blade tight on mine do you have the same problem
No sir this one seems to do pretty well. Best thing is make sure you keep bar oil in it and good and sharp. You get a lot less stress in your chain that way
Have you replaced the bar/chain? What did you buy?
Yes. It's an Oregon brand
Where is your mill?
We are located in Gallant AL
I was hesitant using a battery at first & only liked gas chainsaws. I’ve cut down around 30 trees with that Milwaukee chainsaw and will never use a gas again. I have 2 12amp batteries and one will go all day no problem. So much faster and convenient not having to pull start for every cut. Squeeze and go👍🏻
Couldent agree more, love this thing and it lasts crazy long with the 12ah
What generation is Milwaukee on with this saw and how long has it been out?
Not sure on the gen but it's been out a while
